Emily Gilmore, first seen in the very first episode, is known as Lorelai’s demanding mother. While she frequently interfered, her motivations usually came from a good place, making her a sympathetic character. After Lorelai ran away following the birth of her daughter, Emily had minimal contact with her granddaughter for many years and desperately wanted to reconnect with both of them. However, in this Season 5 episode, she does something so shocking that it completely undermines all the growth she’d shown throughout the series.

Although Guillermo del Toro has won Oscars for other films, many consider Frankenstein to be his masterpiece. The movie is visually impressive, with stunning sets, effects, and Jacob Elordi’s incredible creature makeup. However, I kept noticing one particular detail of Oscar Isaac’s costume throughout the film.

Netflix is developing a new political drama called The Aisle with John Wells, a key creative behind the acclaimed series The West Wing. The streaming giant hopes the new show will capture some of the same success as The West Wing.

The world of Stargate has expanded over the last thirty years with many different shows and movies. Ryland Grace, a science teacher played by Ryan Gosling, finds himself on a spaceship far from Earth with complete amnesia. As his memories return, he discovers he’s on a critical mission: to figure out why the sun is fading and save Earth from destruction. Using his scientific expertise and some unconventional thinking, he tries to solve the mystery, and he might just get help from an unlikely friend along the way.

IDW Dark, the horror-focused branch of the comic book publisher IDW, is releasing Smile: For the Camera, a story set before the events of the Smile movie. However, this series isn’t meant to reveal how the creepy, controlling creature at the heart of the story came to be; it’s a different kind of story altogether.

The CW has announced that Wild Cards will return for a third season. The show, which began in 2024 and recently finished its second season in April 2025, features Giacomo Gianniotti (known from Grey’s Anatomy) and Vanessa Morgan (from Riverdale).

Joe Giudice, a businessman and former cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, recently shared his thoughts on Diddy’s current legal situation. Giudice, 53, served 41 months at Fort Dix federal prison after being convicted of financial fraud. Us Weekly spoke with Giudice about Diddy, who is now incarcerated at the same facility. Based on his own experience, Giudice advises Diddy to stay out of trouble and keep a low profile to ensure his safety and well-being.
