In an interview with Esquire, Kaitlin Olson described balancing her role on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia with motherhood for much of the year. However, when she read the script for High Potential, she was immediately drawn to the complex lead character – a highly intelligent, unpredictable woman working with the LAPD. Olson recalled a time before High Potential became a success on ABC, when she had to take a shortcut to get things done.

My Favorite Charles Bronson Movie Just Turned 40, And It’s Streaming For Free

I’ve enjoyed this movie as a guilty pleasure for forty years, ever since seeing it with friends after school during my junior year at an AMC marathon. It’s a really fun, over-the-top film, quite a departure from the more dramatic ones that came before. It’s often ridiculous, but I still love it, especially the story of Paul Kersey taking on a New York City gang ten years after being exiled.

The story begins in 1946 with Aatami returning to his home near the Finnish-Soviet border, only to discover his wife and child have been brutally murdered by a deranged Soviet soldier named Igor Draganov (Stephen Lang). Draganov killed them, and many others, with a shovel to conserve ammunition. Fueled by grief and rage, Aatami then single-handedly killed 300 Russian soldiers in revenge. Now, Draganov is imprisoned, but offered a chance at freedom if he can eliminate Aatami.
