Being Eddie (2025) Movie Review

Sitcoms always rely on strong lead characters – think Selina Meyer in Veep, the Griffins in Family Guy, or Mary Richards in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. However, some of the funniest moments in those shows actually come from supporting characters who appear in just a handful of episodes, like Uncle Jeff, Mayor West, and Sue Ann Nivens.

The latest preview introduces Lilypad, a smart tablet shaped like a frog and voiced by Greta Lee (known from “TRON: Ares”). Lilypad complicates things for Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the others as they face a brand new challenge to playtime.

The cast of The Boys will be at CCXP Brazil on Saturday, December 6th at 8 p.m. local time (6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT). The panel is expected to start promoting Season 5 of the Amazon Prime Video show, and fans might get a first look at the trailer for the season, which is scheduled to release in 2026.

Morgan Freeman recently spoke with The Guardian about his career, reflecting on the films that have made him a Hollywood legend and a sought-after voice for documentaries. He also shared his strong opposition to artificial intelligence, explaining, “I’m an actor – don’t try to copy my voice. I get paid for that work, so using AI to mimic me is essentially stealing from me.” He added that his lawyers are actively addressing the issue.

Yes, South Park Season 28 Episode 3 premieres on November 12.

It’s no surprise that J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), the leader of the original Four Horsemen, takes notice when a new trio of illusionists starts using their act and reputation to draw crowds. He’s not pleased, and soon both teams end up working together to steal a valuable diamond, the Heart, from the ruthless businesswoman Veronika Vanderburg (Rosamund Pike), bringing a touch of South African flair to the villainous role. What follows is a delightfully complicated story filled with twists and turns as the teams travel the globe, using their skills to pull off elaborate schemes and facing increasingly dangerous situations – and, just like the previous films, nothing is quite as it appears.

I was really intrigued by Glen Powell taking on the lead role – he plays Ben Richards as a much more relatable, everyday guy, though he definitely has a temper, which is why he keeps getting fired. And he’s just lost another job! Now, he’s trying to win it back while also looking after the kids, and his wife is working double shifts just to keep them afloat. It all happens in this really bleak, cynical future where game shows are unbelievably brutal – physically and emotionally. The biggest, most notorious one is ‘The Running Man’, offering a huge cash prize… if you can survive. Spoiler alert: no one ever does, but people keep signing up anyway. Against his wife’s better judgement, Ben enters, passes the qualifications, and ends up competing with two other people who, let’s be honest, don’t stand much of a chance. The whole thing is hosted by this wildly over-the-top TV presenter – Colman Domingo is fantastic! – and the three contestants are thrown into the city, egged on by a bloodthirsty audience, with the goal of surviving for 30 days. And just like that, the games begin.

According to Marvel insider Alex Perez, the Blade movie is still in development, but has been moved to a later phase of Marvel’s cinematic plans. Perez shared in a November 2025 interview with The Cosmic Circus that the delay is intentional, as Marvel wants to integrate it into the next big story arc. This decision follows changes to the release dates for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars movies, and a broader restructuring of Marvel’s schedule.
