Originally premiered as a direct-to-video release in 2000 and featuring Allen reprising his iconic character, this film essentially served as the introductory episode for an animated series that ran for just a couple of seasons but remains beloved. Unfortunately, neither the movie nor the TV show can be streamed with a Disney+ subscription or anywhere else at present, forcing me to rewatch it in the same way I first experienced it – on VHS, a copy of which I recently found at a second-hand store.

In a surprising turn of events during the premiere of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” Season 17, known as “The Gang Fumbles Abbott Elementary,” Janine got extremely upset when Kaitlin Olson’s character tried to steal her man. However, it’s safe to say that none of the viewers anticipated a second-grade teacher blurting out the C-word in front of the make-believe film crew. The latter half of the crossover with the ABC sitcom “Abbott Elementary” was portrayed in its mockumentary style, and the fans were genuinely caught off guard by this unexpected twist. A Reddit user commented:

In the movie Lethal Weapon, we follow Martin Riggs, a police officer from Los Angeles who’s been dealing with the loss of his wife and growing instability. He’s paired up with Martin Murtaugh, a detective known for his strict adherence to rules and a happy family life. Initially forced to work together as partners, they start probing into what was thought to be a suicide case, but it leads them to an expansive crime network and escalating perils.

I had the opportunity to watch both actors’ debut episodes for their respective franchises prior to their airing on the 2025 TV schedule, significantly enhancing an already outstanding cast. Alongside David Dastmalchian, these two, previously from “Modern Family” and “Jessica Jones”, shared insights about the new show with TopMob. I even asked Stonestreet to comment on the potential overlap between “Dexter’s” fanbase and that of the long-running ABC sitcom. In his words:

While it’s true that Star Wars may be scaling back its streaming output, I, as a dedicated follower, can assure you that the creative minds at Lucasfilm, led by Kathleen Kennedy, are not abandoning their Disney+ endeavors altogether. They are still diligently working on projects based within the Lucasian universe, though perhaps not as quickly as they have in the past. Previously, a comprehensive streaming plan was unveiled for the brand, covering several years ahead. For more insights into the evolving Star Wars streaming strategy, I encourage you to explore further details here.

Initially predicted to earn anywhere from $90 to $120 million during its debut weekend, recent estimates suggest that the opening weekend earnings for James Gunn’s film could reach as much as $140 million. This figure is almost at par with the highly optimistic expectations set several weeks ago.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the show’s director is considering creating television spin-offs featuring superhero Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi) and the resourceful Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gisondo).

For several months, various theories have swirled about who Ultraman truly is, as his face is always concealed by a black mask and glasses in promotional materials. Some speculated he might be disguising the face of another DC superhero, while others thought he could be maintaining multiple secret identities and also be the one underneath the enigmatic Hammer of Boravia’s helmet. Now, with the release of Superman, the entire mystery surrounding Ultraman has finally been unveiled.

During a recent chat, the seasoned director shared his views on the possibility of Lois Lane transforming into Superwoman in the upcoming sequel to Superman.
