Although the X-Men won’t officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe until Phase 7, Marvel Studios has started introducing mutants through the Multiverse Saga. We’ve seen actors from the old Fox X-Men movies return for appearances in projects like Deadpool & Wolverine and Avengers: Doomsday, giving them a final send-off before the series is reimagined. Plus, X-Men ’97 has brought back the beloved animated style of the original show after nearly thirty years.

The role of this popular character has been played by many actresses, including Emma Watson in the eight Harry Potter movies and Noma Dumezweni in the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play. Now, Arabella Stanton will take on the character in HBO’s new Harry Potter series, as well as upcoming audiobooks from Audible and Pottermore Publishing. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Stanton showed why she’s perfect for the part.

Netflix revealed that the last episode of its hit sci-fi show will be shown in over 350 cinemas across the U.S. and Canada beginning December 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. This theatrical release coincides with the episode’s worldwide debut on Netflix and will continue through January 1, 2026. For those who prefer to watch at home, the episode will be available to stream on Netflix at the same time.

At that time, he hadn’t yet become the strong leader of District 21’s elite team, and surprisingly, he was initially portrayed as an antagonist, facing off against Matt Casey.

The new series, Talamasca: The Secret Order, premieres on AMC this Sunday, October 26, 2025. It isn’t a direct adaptation of any of Anne Rice’s novels, but instead draws inspiration from various elements across her work. The Talamasca organization appears in many of Rice’s books, creating a link to her other TV series. However, initial reviews for Talamasca: The Secret Order have been mixed, with a 67% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. TV Guide’s Gavin Baker-Whitelaw described it as “visually and narratively unmemorable.”

It’s widely known that filming for Avengers: Doomsday has been underway in London for some time. Over the past year, Jeremy Renner has been busy with Season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown and promoting his memoir, My Next Breath. He recently finished a book tour, including a stop in London, where he had a chance to connect with some of the cast of the new Marvel film. He shared details about this get-together during a recent interview with TopMob.

Skybound Entertainment, known for projects like The Walking Dead, is partnering with Hasbro to create a new animated series called Energon Universe. This series will combine characters and storylines from popular franchises like Transformers, G.I. Joe, and the comic series Void Rivals. Though still in early stages, this project could become the future of Hasbro’s major brands.

Last summer, CBS announced it was cancelling The Late Show, and fans immediately rallied to support the host and the show’s team. It’s understandable how details like that can fade when you’re in the spotlight, which brings us to this moment.
