The podcast *High Potential* took a slightly awkward turn in its recent episode, “Content Warning,” by setting part of the story in a house full of young social media influencers and cameras. While the main murder mystery wasn’t central to the overall storyline following Kaitlin Olson’s character and her team, it was entertaining to watch a car get unexpectedly destroyed in an accident.

The core of *Wednesday* is a story about feeling like an outsider, the power of friendship, building your own chosen family, and embracing your true self. To stay true to Wednesday Addams’ unique personality, the show should avoid unnecessary romantic storylines for her. Season two did this well by giving the romantic drama to Enid, rather than revisiting Wednesday’s complicated love life from the first season.

I was really excited to hear Kevin Winderbaum, a big shot at Marvel Studios who oversees their streaming, TV, and animation, give some serious love to *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.* during a recent live show appearance at New York Comic Con. It’s great to see that show getting recognized!

I’ve been fascinated by *Stranger Things* since the beginning, and I recently learned something really interesting from Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators. They shared that before finishing the show, they knew they absolutely *had* to reveal the true nature of the Upside Down. Apparently, as they started planning Season 5, figuring out *what* the Upside Down actually was was their very first priority – it was at the forefront of everything they were doing!

I just read that the new Bosch show, *Start of Watch*, is going to be a prequel set way back in 1991! It’s going to show a young Harry Bosch as a rookie cop with the LAPD. But here’s the catch – it won’t be on Prime Video like the other Bosch and Ballard shows. If I want to watch it, I’ll need to subscribe to MGM+, which will add another $6.99 to my monthly bill. It’s a little frustrating, but I’m still excited to see how they tell Bosch’s origin story!

A recent report in the *New York Post* (October 9th) indicates that Comcast has been secretly considering a potential acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery for several months. They’ve been watching David Ellison’s attempt to take over the company with Skydance and deciding if they should make their own offer. Although Paramount and Skydance are currently leading the way, even the possibility of Comcast getting involved has caused significant disruption in the entertainment industry.

So, I was scrolling through social media and saw James Gunn tackling fan theories, and a big one got debunked! Apparently, a lot of people thought Tim Meadows’ character, Langston Fleury from A.R.G.U.S., was secretly the Martian Manhunter. Gunn put that to rest on Threads, confirming Fleury isn’t J’onn J’onzz. It’s good to get that cleared up, even if it means one less mystery in the DCU!

Following the news of his death, George Lucas, through Lucasfilm.com, honored his longtime colleague. Drew Struzan created movie posters for nearly five decades, working on over 150 films. His work began with the 1978 re-release poster for *Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope*, which he illustrated alongside Charles White III.
