Avar Jager is joining the cast of the film, according to a new report from What’s On Netflix. The rising actor will play one of Polly’s (Beatrice Campbell) sisters, currently listed as “Polly’s sister 3.”
While recent anime series have their followers and generally receive good ratings on platforms like MyAnimeList, they surprisingly haven’t attracted huge fan communities. Once you’ve watched popular shows like *Solo Leveling* and *Bocchi the Rock!*, there’s a whole world of other great anime waiting to be discovered.
I recently read an interview with Robbie Brenner, the president of Mattel Studios, in *The Hollywood Reporter*, and she gave me a really exciting update on the *Masters of the Universe* movie! She actually just saw a director’s cut and said she was completely blown away – seriously, she thinks it’s amazing. Apparently, it’s going to be their second big theatrical release, and she sees it as a perfect companion piece to *Barbie*. She really emphasized how much fun it is and how different it feels. She also mentioned the sheer size of the production, talking about all the incredible sets they’ve built. As a movie fan, I’m definitely getting hyped!

The 1994 film adaptation of *Interview with the Vampire*, starring Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, and Tom Cruise, was a moderate success. However, AMC’s recent television series has become a huge hit in its first two seasons. While the spin-off *The Mayfair Witches* didn’t quite capture the same dark appeal, a second spin-off called *Talamasca: The Secret Order* is scheduled to premiere on October 26, 2025. Viewers are optimistic that *Talamasca* will be as popular as *Interview with the Vampire*, which is widely considered the best vampire TV show of all time.
