Since then, several spin-off shows have been planned, and ‘House of the Dragon’ is the only one that has premiered, currently completing its second season.
As a huge Alien fan, I’ve always found it fascinating how differently people rank the movies. You ask around, or spend some time online, and everyone has their favorites! Some of us love the really creepy, suspenseful ones that focus on horror, while others prefer the big, explosive space battles. But even with all those different tastes, there’s a general agreement that a few of the films – including the Alien vs. Predator crossovers – just stand out as being better made than the rest. That’s how I ended up with my list of the top five.

In the United States, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has grossed $70 million so far. Worldwide, the film earned over $132 million during its opening weekend, including impressive results in India, Australia, the Middle East, Latin America, and across Europe.
At a recent event in Shanghai, Marvel Studios presented a spectacular light show featuring the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film. The show focused on four key teams that will appear in the movie: the Wakandans, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and the Avengers. While these groups – along with the villain Doctor Doom – are central to the story, fans believe Marvel hasn’t announced everyone who will be in the film, which isn’t scheduled to release for over a year.
Released in 2022, The Batman – a collaboration between Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios – features Robert Pattinson as Batman. The film, directed by Matt Reeves, also stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. A second Batman movie is planned for release in 2027.
As a longtime SNL fan, I was thrilled to see the 50th Anniversary Special win the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live)! It was so well-deserved. I also saw that Lorne Michaels talked to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, and they asked him about the recent cast changes. Basically, he explained that they’re always trying to keep the show feeling new and exciting, and that’s why they make adjustments to the cast – to keep things fresh for everyone.
The late-night host’s spouse was incredibly gracious during their E! red carpet interview, and those kind words felt even more special when the host’s *Late Show* team actually won an Emmy later that night, towards the end of the CBS broadcast (and on Paramount+ for subscribers).
