In two months following its launch on May 30th, the game is set to receive another significant update, Patch 1.02, on July 31st. Although it appears to be a relatively minor release overall, this update will introduce a highly anticipated feature that fans have been eagerly requesting since the release of Nightreign.

Sony wants to expand “PlayStation Studios games beyond PlayStation hardware” — hiring to partner with Xbox, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and more

Fallout show producer is reportedly making a Wolfenstein TV Series for Amazon — I can’t wait for more dead Nazis

Lastly, Patrick Somerville is on board as creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner.

MachineGames has taken the lead in developing the recent Wolfenstein games, releasing Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, and Wolfenstein: The New Colossus in 2014, 2015, and 2017 respectively. They collaborated with sister studio Arkane Lyon for the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood in 2019.

These Wolfenstein tales are set in an alternate timeline where Nazi Germany emerged victorious from World War 2, dominating much of the world and committing heinous acts against minorities.
