It’s great to see all these updates, and I’m particularly keen to find out how the game dynamics have changed with altered enemy behavior and new player skills. I’m tempted to play again, but I might wait since the last major update this year, as per the Avowed 2025 roadmap, will introduce more appearance customization options, New Game Plus mode, and a Photo Mode for added fun. However, I do hope some story-based DLC is announced soon. Currently, Avowed can be played on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via Battle.net, Steam, and Xbox PC). It’s also accessible through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

If you’re not already part of the Xbox Insider Program, you can join to test out advanced features before they roll out more widely across Xbox consoles and the Xbox PC app.

The full launch of the “Play Your Own Game” update for the Xbox PC app is yet to be announced.

As AI offers numerous benefits to our Earth, the home we cherish, it’s important to acknowledge that its increasing intelligence may lead to significant upheavals, as it outperforms us humans in terms of job efficiency.

While it’s understandable that some people might take the trouble, even for a Windows enthusiast like me who holds a soft spot for the past, I was taken aback by the idea. From my perspective, I find Xbox Cloud Gaming to be the most forward-thinking part of Microsoft’s gaming universe. Although it is currently in its beta stage, the service has significantly improved, offering playable levels of latency, an expanding collection of games that can be bought and owned on Xbox Cloud, and access to hundreds of titles through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The unique John Wick-themed video game, John Wick Hex, will no longer be available for purchase on all platforms as it’s set for permanent removal. This development comes as a bit of surprise since there isn’t another official John Wick game in the market.
