As a Windows 11 user, I was running into this really annoying bug with my multiple monitors. If I tried to open the notification center from the little system tray icon on a screen *other* than my main one, absolutely nothing would happen! Two new playlists, called Moshpit and Search and Destroy, have been added to the game. These playlists are designed to lessen the effects of Skill Based Matchmaking. If we temporarily ignore how important Xbox Game Pass is to Xbox’s income – and the fact that most Game Pass users play on Xbox consoles – and also set aside the limitations and costs of Xbox Cloud Gaming, something interesting emerges. Considering the same technology could be used to let people create their own local “cloud” powered by their home electricity – essentially, like a traditional console – the current direction seems a bit odd. I’ve been waiting for this! Battlefield 6, the newest game from Electronic Arts (EA), is launching on October 10th. From what I’ve seen, it’s already getting a lot of positive attention. People are really liking how realistic the military action feels, and the recent beta test was a huge hit, attracting hundreds of thousands of players.
As a researcher on this project, I can share that everyone participating has the opportunity to earn special in-game items now, and the best part is – you’ll still have them when the complete game launches! We want to reward our players for helping us test and improve the experience.
Currently, you can only play in Survival mode on the Vandorn Farm map. However, there’s a special reward for dedicated players: reaching round 50 in a single match unlocks the “Tip of the Spear” Dark Ops challenge, which grants you a unique calling card available only during the beta.
