I was listening to the Bg2 podcast the other day (I read about it on Tom’s Hardware first!), and they had NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, on as a guest. He was talking about how NVIDIA’s business is changing when it comes to AI development in China – it’s really interesting because NVIDIA makes most of the specialized graphics cards that power AI these days!
At last week’s Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm showcased laptops powered by its new Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor. This chip boasts 18 cores and can reach speeds of 5.0GHz – a first for processors based on the Arm architecture, according to Qualcomm. The demonstration featured fully functional laptop designs.
A recent update to the early-release version of Microsoft Edge (Edge Canary) includes new settings that control how Windows handles searches entered into the taskbar. Outside of the European Economic Area, Windows will now automatically open Microsoft Edge and use Bing for any search typed into the taskbar, even if you’ve chosen a different browser as your default.

Humble Games and Riyo Games recently released a new trailer for their upcoming JRPG, Threads of Time. First announced last year, the game is a turn-based RPG featuring pixel art and a story heavily inspired by the classic Square Enix title, Chrono Trigger.

As a tech fan, I’m really impressed with this new PowerToys feature – they’ve clearly put a lot of thought into it. It’s called “Light Switch,” and it’s super easy to use. The interface is clean and intuitive, letting you set specific times for Windows to automatically switch between light and dark mode. It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference in my day-to-day experience!
This week’s biggest release is *Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles* from Square Enix. It’s a remastered version of the classic *Final Fantasy Tactics* game, originally for PlayStation 2, with updated graphics, helpful new features, and even voice acting!
