OpenAI may have just handed Microsoft the keys to the AI kingdom — CEO Mustafa Suleyman wants to “be self-sufficient”

For the past two months, Microsoft and OpenAI have been experiencing significant tension. This stemmed from OpenAI’s desire to become a for-profit company, a move intended to prevent unwanted acquisitions or outside control. Several sources indicated that Microsoft was delaying these plans, seemingly to safeguard its own position.

OpenAI reportedly hemorrhages $15 million/day on AI slop videos — after Bill Gates warned Satya Nadella against “burning billions” in the ChatGPT maker

Despite reports of high expenses, OpenAI is facing scrutiny regarding its financial sustainability. Critics point to a projected $1.4 billion spending on computing power, even though the company reportedly earns $13 billion from its products and services. CEO Sam Altman recently refuted these concerns, suggesting OpenAI is performing significantly better than indicated. He confidently stated he could easily find buyers for any shares people wanted to sell, highlighting strong investor interest in the company.

The Elder Scrolls 6 still “a long ways off” according to Bethesda’s Todd Howard — and he says shadow dropping Oblivion Remastered “worked out well”

I doubt we’ll see The Elder Scrolls 6 released with a sudden trailer drop – it’s a huge game and will likely be a major release for Xbox. A more realistic approach would be to keep details under wraps until it’s nearly finished, then ramp up the marketing a few months before launch.

While it’s frustrating to hear the game is still a ways off, it’s not unexpected. I still believe The Elder Scrolls 6 will come out in 2028.

Fallout fans will have an even longer wait for Fallout 5, but they can look forward to Season 2 of the Fallout TV show on December 17th, and there are rumors of a remastered Fallout 3 in the works.

Hopefully, we’ll get some news about the future of Starfield soon. Bethesda announced another expansion is coming, along with free updates to improve space exploration. Details are scarce, but the teased “Terran Armada” could significantly impact Starfield’s story and universe.
