The Elder Scrolls 6 still “a long ways off” according to Bethesda’s Todd Howard — and he says shadow dropping Oblivion Remastered “worked out well”

I doubt we’ll see The Elder Scrolls 6 released with a sudden trailer drop – it’s a huge game and will likely be a major release for Xbox. A more realistic approach would be to keep details under wraps until it’s nearly finished, then ramp up the marketing a few months before launch.

While it’s frustrating to hear the game is still a ways off, it’s not unexpected. I still believe The Elder Scrolls 6 will come out in 2028.

Fallout fans will have an even longer wait for Fallout 5, but they can look forward to Season 2 of the Fallout TV show on December 17th, and there are rumors of a remastered Fallout 3 in the works.

Hopefully, we’ll get some news about the future of Starfield soon. Bethesda announced another expansion is coming, along with free updates to improve space exploration. Details are scarce, but the teased “Terran Armada” could significantly impact Starfield’s story and universe.
