The final episode of The Celebrity Traitors drew over 11 million viewers, demonstrating the show’s huge popularity with audiences.
The final episode of the show drew an average of 11.1 million viewers, with 12 million tuning in at its peak! It also broke records on BBC iPlayer, receiving 1.9 million live requests – the highest number ever for an entertainment program on the platform.
In the 70-minute special, the final five contestants completed a last challenge before facing off at the final roundtable discussion.
Okay, so right off the bat in the first round, things got rough for Cat Burns. Joe Marler, David Olusoga, and Nick Mohammed all wrongly accused her of being a Traitor, and unfortunately, that meant she was voted out of the game. It was a surprising elimination, and honestly, a bit heartbreaking to watch!
But as per the rules, she didn’t reveal her status in the game.
Soon after, Alan Carr successfully got Joe voted out, with Nick and David also casting votes against him, which Joe wasn’t happy about. The remaining three players then had to decide whether to keep playing or finish the game.

At the end of the game, it was revealed that Alan Carr had been the Traitor all along. He successfully deceived the other players and won £87,500 for his charity, Neuroblastoma UK.
Alan was overcome with emotion when he revealed he was the Traitor and learned he’d succeeded. He later explained that the stress of all the lying, betrayal, and having to eliminate Paloma and Celia had finally caught up with him.
He explained that it suddenly hit him how much money he’d won for Neuroblastoma UK, a charity that means a great deal to him, and he became overwhelmed with emotion.
I hope people will understand why I did what I did, and won’t be too upset about the loss of those important historical items.
