Celebrity Traitors’ Joe Marler and Nick Mohammed to reunite after shock finale for very important TV special

Following the dramatic events of the final episode of The Traitors, many viewers were surprised to see Joe Marler and Nick Mohammed working together on television again, but they are now!

Josh Hartnett and Kieran Culkin aren’t the only famous faces joining Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox! Another pair has been added to the show, which is raising money for Stand Up to Cancer.

Nick and Joe will once again team up with viewers to discuss the highlights of the week’s TV shows, all to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer.

Honestly, supporting Stand Up to Cancer just felt right. It feels like everyone has been touched by cancer somehow, and if me and Nick, just being ourselves on Gogglebox, can make a difference and raise some money, then count me in! And let’s be real, I absolutely love Gogglebox – it’s the only job where simply chatting nonsense on the sofa actually helps people. Plus, there’s the added bonus of knowing Nick won’t suddenly turn on me… unless it involves a fight over the remote, that is!

Nick Mohammad shared that when Gogglebox invited him to do a Stand Up To Cancer special with Joe Marler, he initially saw it as a chance for Joe to apologize for a past prank. Apparently, Joe still jokingly brings up the incident frequently, so Nick felt that being side-by-side on a sofa was the best way to mend their playful rivalry and rebuild trust.

We’re both really proud to support Stand Up to Cancer because so many lives are touched by this disease. If chatting about TV can help fund crucial research, that’s wonderful! And Gogglebox is just simple, lovely fun – good friends, snacks, a cozy couch, and thankfully, no complicated challenges or presenters!

Along with the Gogglebox specials, Stand Up to Cancer has released a heartfelt tribute honoring those who have died from cancer, spearheaded by Mel Schilling from Married at First Sight.

Across the UK, people are invited to remember loved ones lost to cancer by dedicating a personalized lantern to them. These lanterns, each featuring a special message and photo, will create a beautiful mile-long display of remembrance, love, and hope in Leicester’s Abbey Park. You can choose from four different lantern designs and personalize them online.

You can create a lantern and share a dedication by visiting the Stand Up To Cancer Tribute Mile website, where you can choose a design and upload your message.

Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand up to Cancer airs on Friday 12th December at 9pm on Channel 4.
