I’ve been watching the way Chainsaw Man handled its release, and it reminded me a lot of Demon Slayer. Instead of immediately making a second season, they went straight to a full-length movie, just like Mugen Train. And it worked! Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc did really well in theaters around the world. To celebrate, Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of the original manga, gave fans a special treat: some brand new artwork of Denji and Reze. It’s great to see he can still draw the Chainsaw Devil so well!
If you’ve seen the first Chainsaw Man movie, you’ll remember the complicated relationship between Denji and Reze. It’s interesting to see that the coffee shop where Reze works – a key location in their story – is featured again in some new artwork by Fujimoto. Along with this special art, the creators shared a thank you message to fans following the success of the MAPPA-produced movie. Tatsuki Fujimoto, the original author, expressed his gratitude to everyone who went to see it and thanked us for continuing to support Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc. You can check out the new artwork below.
The theatrical release of “Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc” has been a huge success! In just 103 days after its release, the film attracted 655,000 viewers and earned over 10 billion yen at the Japanese box office. To celebrate, a thank you message from the original author, Tatsuki Fujimoto, along with newly drawn illustrations of Denji and Reze, have been released!

Chainsaw’s Future
I was so hyped when the Chainsaw Man movie dropped, and even more excited when they quickly announced more was coming! Last year, Studio MAPPA confirmed they’re adapting the “Assassins Arc” from the manga – seriously, it’s one of the craziest storylines! Basically, after Denji defeats the Bomb Devil, he finds himself hunted by incredibly dangerous assassins. It’s a total twist! We’re still not sure if this new adaptation will be a movie or a full season, but given how long the “Assassins Arc” is in the manga, I’m really hoping for a whole season to do it justice!
I’m so hyped for more Chainsaw Man! While we’re all eagerly awaiting the anime’s return, the manga is delivering some absolutely insane battles right now with Denji facing off against the War Devil. Honestly, Tatsuki Fujimoto is a genius – the fight choreography in these recent chapters is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The War Devil’s ability to turn anything – objects, people, even whole states! – into weapons is mind-blowing. It might be a long wait until these fights get animated, but if Studio MAPPA handles them, it’s going to be totally worth it. Seriously, prepare to be amazed!
