Fans of Chainsaw Man are realizing the story is nearing its climax with Denji’s battle against Yoru. It’s uncertain if this fight will conclude the entire series or simply lead into a potential third part, but it looks like the current part, part 2, will wrap up relatively soon.
Although the second part of Chainsaw Man is nearing its end, it looks like it will finish with an exciting and powerful conclusion. During the intense battle with Yoru, Denji has received a significant power boost – the first major one in the entire series – and it’s perfectly timed as the story builds towards its climax.
How Chainsaw Man Gave Denji The Ultimate Power-Up

In Chainsaw Man chapter 222, Pochita was seriously injured by Yoru’s powerful attack, but Denji was still able to fight. Instead of transforming into Chainsaw Man, Denji unlocked a new ability that gave him Pochita’s powers while remaining in control – a form referred to as “Denji Man” based on the chapter’s title.
Denji Man’s design shares similarities with Pochita’s Hero of Hell form, but it’s more streamlined and appears more human. With fully visible eyes and more complete arms, this form reflects Denji harnessing Pochita’s complete power, resulting in a powerful yet recognizably human appearance.
What’s really interesting about Denji transforming into Denji Man is how it happened. Yoru attempted to control Pochita, but Denji cleverly defeated her in a game of rock-paper-scissors. This wasn’t just a win; it proved Denji’s strength of will and his refusal to be controlled, likely explaining why his transformed form looks the way it does.
Denji Man Is The Perfect Counter To Chainsaw Man’s Final Villain

Honestly, what I love most about Denji’s transformation is how perfectly it clashes with Yoru. He basically takes Yoru’s weirdness and fights fire with fire – a totally different kind of crazy that actually works! When you add in Pochita’s raw power, Denji becomes a force that can really go toe-to-toe with Yoru in every way. It’s just brilliant storytelling!
Denji gaining Pochita’s power could make the final battle incredibly exciting. Pochita usually relies on brute force, but Denji is known for his clever and unusual fighting style. Combining these two approaches could lead to a truly spectacular and thrilling climax.
The second part of Chainsaw Man is wrapping up soon, and honestly, it feels like it’s building to an incredible finale. Denji’s current form is fantastic both in terms of how it looks and how the story is unfolding. I’m really hoping the ending is as wild and over-the-top as you’d expect from a series like Chainsaw Man.
