The official account of X (previously known as Twitter) for Chainsaw Man has announced that the world premiere of Reze Arc is imminent and scheduled for September 15th in Tokyo, where 140 lucky fans selected through an online application will have the exclusive opportunity to watch it before anyone else. The film will then be released in Japanese cinemas on September 19th at a yet-to-be-disclosed TOHO Cinema in Tokyo, with the event featuring both the cast and crew of the movie.

The stage version of “Chenshomaru Resa Chapter” has been chosen for a World Premiere! Applications start today.
The event is scheduled for September 15th (Holiday) at an undisclosed location in the city.

The “Reze Arc” is the continuation of the incredibly popular animated series “Chainsaw Man,” produced by MAPPA. Based on the highly acclaimed Shonen Jump manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Season 1 debuted in 2022 and soon garnered widespread praise from fans. Fujimoto’s manga already had a dedicated fan base, but MAPPA’s anime skyrocketed the franchise’s popularity. Despite altering some aspects of the original source material, Season 1 was named Anime of the Year at the following Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The upcoming movie of Chainsaw Man follows Denji’s journey, seeking both love and a tranquil existence amidst a realm teeming with demons. This new adversary, dubbed the Bomb Devil, will present a formidable challenge for Denji by assuming the guise of his captivating love interest, Reze.
