Chanel West Coast Breaks Silence on Ridiculousness Cancellation

Chanel West Coast is incredulous about the end of Ridiculousness.

Shortly after MTV ended its run of the clip show hosted by Rob Dyrdek, the TV personality—who had been a part of the show from 2011 to 2023—spoke about its cancellation.

She expressed her sadness, calling the show’s cancellation the end of a significant period. In a recent interview with TMZ, she explained that she believed the world really needed a show that could bring joy and laughter, especially now. She felt it was a difficult time for such a positive show to end.

However, Chelsea Chanel Dudley, 37, acknowledged that the show had changed after she left.

“I don’t want to say I was shocked,” she noted. “It was a bit different since I left the show.”

Chanel, who shares 3-year-old daughter Bowie Breeze with her boyfriend Dom Fenison, has left her role on the show after 30 seasons working with Rob and Sterling “Steelo” Brim. She’s now focusing on her own projects, including starring in the 2024 MTV docuseries The West Coast Hustle, and is currently developing several new ventures.

I’m starting a new chapter with lots of changes,” she explained. “As one thing finishes, another begins. Everything good eventually comes to a close.

MTV cancelled Ridiculousness as part of a broader plan to offer new and different types of shows with fresh perspectives, according to sources who spoke with TopMob News.

Although the show isn’t making new episodes anymore, episodes that have already been filmed will still air on the channel until 2026, according to sources. Plus, all 46 seasons will remain on MTV, and some will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
