Channing Tatum is shouldering on.
Over a month after having surgery on his separated shoulder, the actor from 21 Jump Street shared a candid update about how his recovery is going.
I’m so glad to share that Channing recently posted an update on his recovery! He said on Instagram, March 28th, that his scar is actually healing really well, and he’s starting to get his movement back. It’s amazing to see his progress!
He noticed a faint scar on his left shoulder and joked, “It’s shrunk so much that I feel weak at the gym, like a little kid.”
But despite the ongoing struggle, Channing highlighted the silver linings.
I finally got the okay from the doctor to start training, which is great news,” he said. “This has been a really difficult time, and I’ve been struggling with my thoughts more than ever before.
Channing Tatum, who has a 12-year-old daughter named Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, shared that he felt incredibly down during the beginning of his shoulder recovery. However, he made a conscious effort to stay positive.
“Starting to come out the other side,” he added. “Feeling better than I have in months mentally.”
Channing shared this update almost two months after first announcing he had shoulder surgery in February to repair a separation.
Sharing a black and white hospital photo on Instagram on February 4th, the actor—who previously starred in Magic Mike and is currently dating Inka Williams—wrote, ‘Just another day, another challenge. This one will be tough, but I’m ready to face it.’

Okay, so it’s been two weeks, and he finally talked about what really happened! Turns out, his injury was way worse than anyone knew. He even showed us the scar from his surgery – I swear, I almost fainted! I’ve been worried sick, and seeing that just… wow. It’s good to know he’s taking care of it, but still, seeing the actual wound… it’s a lot.
Channing explained in a February 19th post that they shouldn’t have assumed things would be simple. They initially thought the procedure would only require two small punctures, but it turned out to be more involved. Despite that, Channing expressed a positive attitude, saying they actually like scars and that the healing process is progressing well thanks to their doctor.
Even after a serious health issue, Channing decided to find the funny side of things, joking, “I always get a little nervous going through airport security, wondering if my shoulder will set off the alarm.”

She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with the condition for over ten years.
She explained that many girls are taught to expect period pain as a normal part of growing up and being female. This often leaves them dealing with a common issue in silence and feeling isolated.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she’d been hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap to form in her abdominal muscles.
Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter) asking why she hadn’t tweeted recently. Suki jokingly replied, explaining she’d been hiding a painful injury – a hernia caused by wearing extremely tight pants six months ago – and was afraid to mention it.

He explained that just a few weeks prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a single squat or stand on one foot without falling. He compared the feeling to having a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

I was so worried when I heard about Alec Baldwin! Apparently, he had a health issue at a Knicks game back in March 2025 and they actually had to wheel him out of Madison Square Garden. It was really frightening to see.
Oh my gosh, I was SO worried! He posted an update yesterday, thankfully, and it turns out he just had food poisoning! He said he’s getting better, and honestly, that’s all I needed to hear. I was a wreck, but it’s such a relief it wasn’t anything serious!

In February 2025, the former Even Stevens star revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday celebration for her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.
Oh my god, you will NOT believe what happened! We were at this party, and some people started shooting, but like, completely recklessly! A bullet actually hit ME in the face! Thankfully, Brendan Rooney – seriously, he’s an angel – instantly jumped into action. He checked me over and got me to the hospital so fast. I ended up with five wounds, and one of them was SO close to my eye – less than an inch away! I owe Brendan everything, he literally saved my life. I’m still shaking just thinking about it, but I’m so incredibly grateful for him.
As a huge fan, I was so worried to hear about what happened to Christy Carlson Romano! She shared that a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye, and her doctors feel it’s too dangerous to try and remove it with surgery right now. The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She urged everyone to hug their loved ones often, emphasizing the importance of appreciating life and the people in it.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often negative side, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised to see doctors commenting on interviews, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome, a condition potentially caused by high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted her to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. Without the online comments, she might not have connected the injections to her symptoms. Schumer recently shared that she’s relieved to have a form of Cushing syndrome that will resolve on its own, and she’s happy to be healthy.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly started having stroke-like symptoms, and couldn’t speak or control the right side of her face. Although her symptoms briefly stopped, she went to the hospital for tests. Doctors discovered she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). Further testing at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart, called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to reach her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the hole in her heart and is now doing well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, calling the situation scary but assuring everyone he would be completely fine and was grateful he was on the mend.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had initially kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.
Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. Doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke.
After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying he needed them all.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the show, she experienced a sudden, severe headache at the gym, followed by intense pain and vomiting. She quickly realized something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain – due to a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent immediate surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she temporarily lost her ability to speak, often muttering nonsensical phrases.
Though she left the hospital after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, causing a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia reports she has now made a full recovery and is doing well.

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how thankful she is for her family’s support. In January 2024, she suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones. “I texted them that I just had a stroke and sent them a picture,” she told Will Marfuggi of TopMob News in December 2024, “and everybody just came to my rescue.”
Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. She explained that while she could have gone home after the stroke, her lupus and failing kidneys required further treatment.
Today, Cori is recovering well. “I’m doing great,” she said. “I just had a little bit of motor skills that I had to work back on, but other than that, I was fine.”

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she revealed she experienced hearing loss, debilitating fatigue, and chronic stomach pain. She described a confusing process of receiving conflicting diagnoses from various doctors. Determined to find answers, Woodley, who has a background in herbalism, sought help from both traditional doctors and alternative healers.
This health journey lasted for ten years and deeply impacted her mental well-being. She developed a fear of food due to her stomach pain, which led to struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body.
Fortunately, after years of addressing both her physical and mental health, Shailene is now feeling much better and is happy to report she is very healthy.
