The singer announced that he and his wife, Brooke Sansone, are expecting their first child. He shared the joyful news on October 16th through the music video for his new song, “Changes.”

As the video ended, Brooke gently held her baby bump, hiding it under a large red sweater. Charlie, age 33, then put his hand on her stomach, and the couple shared a sweet smile before walking away, holding each other close.

The song’s lyrics, taken from the first single on his next album, *Whatever’s Clever!*, also hinted at the upcoming birth and the big changes a baby will bring.
