Charlie Sheen Apologizes to Dax Shepard for Being a “D–k”

Charlie Sheen is getting an issue off his chest.

Charlie Sheen, known for his role in *Two and a Half Men*, recently apologized to Dax Shepard for how he treated him about twenty years ago. Interestingly, Shepard didn’t even recall the incident.

During his October 6th podcast, *Armchair Expert*, Charlie told Dax he felt bad about how he’d treated him one night. He admitted he’d been a real jerk and apologized for being so unpleasant.

Dax was taken aback by his confession, because he didn’t recall the moment.

“Tell me, because it’s so bizarre,” Dax admitted. “I don’t remember that.”

Before sharing his story, the actor – who has five children from three different relationships – explained that Charlie Sheen had planned to fix things “the next day, week, or month.” He then added, “And now, twenty years have passed.” Sheen’s children include Sami and Lola Sheen (with ex-wife Denise Richards), twins Bob and Max Sheen (with ex Brooke Mueller), and Cassandra Estevez (with Paula Profit).

Charlie explained they were talking about how Halloween isn’t very enjoyable with very young children. He admitted it’s a mixed bag – it’s fun to look back on in pictures, but at the time, he was in a bad mood and complaining, and didn’t feel thankful for anything.

Charlie remembered Dax saying they had a really good time, going to a few parties. Dax apparently commented that Charlie was ‘the fun version of Halloween.’ Charlie then admitted he’d made an inappropriate and unnecessary comment – telling Dax to ‘try it with kids’ – and offered an apology twenty years later.

Charlie recently shared his thoughts on reflecting on past mistakes, following the release of his documentary and memoir last month.

“I don’t want to dwell on past mistakes,” the *Wall Street* actor recently told TopMob News. “I believe everything that happens to us, both the good and the bad, shapes who we are. If I believe that’s true, I have to accept it fully myself.”

Charlie and Dax aren’t the only celebrities who’ve ended their disagreements. Here are some other famous feuds that have been resolved…

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving *Queer Eye* after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)

He told *Vanity Fair* that he and Tan are doing okay despite a personal issue they’ve been dealing with. He emphasized that the situation is private and doesn’t affect their work on the show, and it wasn’t a romantic matter.

I was really surprised to see Tan addressing those rumors back in March 2024. Apparently, people were saying he’d been trying to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to take Bobby’s place on *Queer Eye*, and he finally set the record straight.

Netflix and the production companies held a thorough audition process. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately got it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the job by having anyone else removed from consideration, as I saw some people speculate on Instagram.

After years of speculation about a disagreement, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty’s former co-star on *Charmed*, revealed in a December 2023 podcast episode that Alyssa Milano supposedly gave a show producer an ultimatum: choose her or Shannen. Combs claims this led to Shannen’s departure from the show in 2001.

In a February 2024 Instagram post, Alyssa stated she couldn’t get anyone fired and claimed that any current accounts of the events were simply inaccurate retellings of something that happened a long time ago.

At a MegaCon Orlando panel, Shannen stated that, to her knowledge, the story as it was originally told remains accurate and hasn’t been changed or rewritten.

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a consistently rude and unpleasant person.

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed upset during his 2014 appearance on *The Talk* because she had misspoken his name.

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She added, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean. This followed a post Brittany made on Instagram on August 23rd, where she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, and expressed her enjoyment of a feminine lifestyle.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! So, back in 2022, JoJo Siwa actually called Candace Cameron Bure the *rudest* celebrity she’d ever met! Apparently, JoJo was so excited to meet her on a red carpet a while ago, but Candace just… wouldn’t take a picture with her! JoJo was totally heartbroken, and she finally talked about it on TikTok. But get this – Candace actually apologized! She said she basically crushed 11-year-old JoJo’s heart and that she felt *terrible* about it. It was so sweet to see her say sorry, even if it took a while! I’m just obsessed with this whole story, it’s wild!

I was so happy when Candace and I saw things patched up! But I was really disappointed by her recent comments about the direction of Great American Family. She was asked if we’d ever see same-sex couples leading roles in their holiday movies, and she basically said no, explaining they want to focus on ‘traditional marriage.’ It’s just… not the inclusive vision I’d hoped for, and honestly, it feels like a step backward.

As someone who champions inclusivity, I was really disappointed to see the recent comment made by the actress. JoJo, who bravely shared their identity as part of the LGBTQ+ community back in 2021, rightly pointed out on Instagram how incredibly rude and hurtful it was – not just to them, but to the entire community. It’s a reminder that words have power, and we all need to be mindful of the impact they have.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art of her band, Hole, for a promotional photo without giving credit. Olivia responded with a message of support, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on *Watch What Happens Live*, the *Happy Days* actor explained why he and the *Forrest Gump* star didn’t get along while filming the 1989 movie *Turner & Hooch*.

I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to pack up and go home, as I had everything I needed with me, he said.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Anyone who watched *The Hills* likely remembers that famous line from Lauren on the show’s third season premiere. The drama started when Heidi began dating her future husband, Spencer Pratt, and escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler making a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had another public disagreement after the release date for *Fast & Furious 9* was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave *Fast 9* if Dwayne Johnson remained involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the long-standing conflict with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, telling Van Lathan on *The Red Pill* podcast that he still hasn’t spoken directly to Johnson, though they plan to. He did mention having a conversation with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he was the one who publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others involved with the franchise, and he takes responsibility for that. He said it wasn’t a professional or respectful thing to do.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which began with issues over a shared backup dancer and competing concert tours, was resolved when Katy sent Taylor an olive branch – a symbol of peace – before Taylor’s *Reputation* Tour began.

Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of *Sex and the City*, successfully avoided rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and subsequently made some pointed remarks about her co-star.

During a September 2017 episode of *Watch What Happens Live*, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.

She was deeply upset, saying she felt heartbroken about something. They had discussed it the previous week, and she explained that she didn’t share the same memory of events, finding the situation very distressing.

It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the shared experience we had. It started as a professional project, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that the strength of those years, and the special connection we all felt, will outweigh any recent disagreements. Being part of something so meaningful for so long was a real privilege.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously told the audience that he didn’t believe lip-syncing qualified as a live act and suggested performers who lip-sync should face consequences, given the price fans pay for tickets.

The actress, formerly known for her role on *Grey’s Anatomy*, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to be removed from Emmy Award consideration. She explained her decision by saying she didn’t believe the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine’s choice in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on *Oprah’s Next Chapter*. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone consistently demonstrates their true character, you should believe them,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart and it’s been a valuable lesson for me.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what started the argument with Nicki.

You know, I’ve been dealing with some negativity from another artist lately. I actually tried to clear the air with her a couple of times, and we *thought* we had a mutual understanding. But unfortunately, she continued to bring it up, which is really frustrating.

The conflict really escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had supposedly liked, then unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting. Nicki has stated she didn’t actually interact with the tweet.

Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially very profitable Bruno Mars tour because she wanted to be with her daughter. She emphasized how much she loves her daughter and considers herself a great mom. She responded to criticism about a recent encounter with another artist, saying opportunities like that don’t come along often, and she wouldn’t expect to run into someone famous in a casual setting again.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which included lyrics referencing Taylor.

Just before the Grammy Awards in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for the action, and Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”

The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview where Mariah was asked about other singers. When asked specifically about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah famously responded, “I don’t know her.”
