Chase Chrisley is on a winding road to recovery.
Chrisley Knows Best celebrity has recently disclosed his struggles with stomach problems, revealing how these health concerns have impacted his daily routine.
During the September 9th episode of Chrisleys: Back to Reality, as reported by People, he confessed, “My health isn’t great. It feels like all the things I’ve been through are finally taking a toll on me.
Later in the episode, he confessed to his girlfriend, Jodie Laine Fournerat, that he had become fearful about his physical functions.
In a recent confession, Chase stated that he has significantly reduced his weight over the past twelve months. He also mentioned that his body seems to be unable or unwilling to consume food.
The sequence continued by presenting a compilation of Chase retching, followed by him confessing to his girlfriend in a subsequent scene that he’s unable to hold down anything. (age: 29)
Later on, he shared with his grandmother Faye Chrisley that his physician plans to perform certain tests to identify the source of his digestive problems, mentioning there’s a possibility he might undergo a CT scan, “just to check for potential brain tumors.
Chase’s worry about his health arose about a week ago, following the same concern from his sister Savannah Chrisley on the show “Chrisleys: Back to Reality.” She mentioned that his struggles had been persistent during their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley’s prison sentences-before they were released in May-noting he didn’t look well.
To Savannah, Chase’s health problems appear to stem from drinking.
“I feel Chase’s behavior just continues to go further and further downhill, and all that does is damage our relationship even more,” the 28-year-old shared during the Sept. 1 episode of the docuseries. “I have tried to help him before he got arrested. I had set up for him to go to a treatment facility.”
In the days leading up to Chase’s arrest for assaulting a sports bar manager in January, Savannah remembered arranging a spot for him at a rehab facility. However, their conversation ended with Chase telling her an offensive term instead of a kind phrase.
Even though there’s been a reason to worry lately about Chase, he still insisted that alcohol isn’t the primary source of his problems.
During the September 1st episode, Chase, who had been sober for a month by then, stated that he’s not someone who develops daily habits of drinking and wakes up with a desire or craving for it. Instead, when he does drink, he drinks responsibly and sparingly, choosing to do so only on occasions.

The 12 Years a Slave star was diagnosed with uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the uterus—in 2014, the same year she won an Oscar for performance in the movie.
Yet, it was only in the year 2025 that she revealed her diagnosis. On Instagram, she shared that she had been quietly enduring this condition for over a decade.
In her own words, she stated, “As we enter puberty, we are often led to believe that menstruation brings pain, and this pain is just an inevitable aspect of being female. However, many women endure this problem on their own.
In July 2025, the star of Daisy Jones & The Six revealed that she was admitted to the hospital because of a hernia, which is typically a tear or weakness in the muscular wall, often found in the lower stomach or thigh region, resulted from consistently wearing skin-tight clothing.

In the episode of his Trading Secrets podcast from March 2025, he expressed that even as he speaks, his feet and knees still have a strange tingling sensation, which is surprising. To give context, let me clarify that around two to four weeks ago, I might have been squatting about 295 pounds. However, at the moment, I’m unable to do a single-legged squat without falling over. It feels as though I’ve had a stroke or something similar happened.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Back in February of ’25, I, an over-the-moon fan, gleefully share a harrowing tale – one that happened during a thrilling getaway to celebrate my beloved husband Brendan Rooney’s special day. This incredible occasion was marked by an unforgettable experience as we took aim at clay pigeons, but little did we know the unexpected twist our excitement would take: I was accidentally shot in the face! Quite the adventure, right?
Another person at our gathering discharged their weapon recklessly and struck me in the face,” she posted on Instagram. “@thebrendanrooney swiftly reacted, checked on me, and hurried me to the hospital. I was injured in five spots, one of which was very close to my right eye.

Although the internet can sometimes be unkind, Amy Schumer is grateful that it provided her with valuable information in this particular instance. In a 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, she reminisced about facing criticism over her appearance, saying, “The internet was really harsh towards me after all that press, but then doctors were weighing in on the comments.” These medical professionals suggested she might have Cushing syndrome, possibly due to elevated cortisol levels or steroid injections. It wasn’t until they pointed this out that Amy realized, “I’ve been getting steroid injections in my scars, so it seems I developed Cushing syndrome as a result.” Now, relieved and healthy after learning she has a type of Cushing that will resolve itself naturally, Amy shared the good news in her 2024 News Not Noise newsletter.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a terrifying ordeal during breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed symptoms similar to a stroke, which left her unable to respond or speak properly, and one side of her face drooped. Although the symptoms subsided, she was taken to the hospital for a check-up.
Doctors found that Hailey had experienced a small blood clot in her brain, known as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Later, it was discovered that she had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot apparently traveled through this hole to her heart, escaped, and went to her brain, causing the TIA.
After undergoing a successful PFO closure procedure, Hailey is now feeling well.
2022 was a challenging year for me, as the same time Hailey faced her health struggles, my idol, Justin Bieber, encountered one of his own. In June, the “Baby” singer disclosed his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that temporarily paralyzed parts of his face and compelled him to halt the rest of his Justice World Tour.
He described it as a virus that attacked the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, causing temporary facial paralysis. As you can see from the Instagram video he shared at the time, his eye wasn’t blinking, he couldn’t smile on one side of his face, his nostril wouldn’t move – indicating full paralysis on that side. He also mentioned it became progressively harder for him to eat.
However, things took a turn for the better as the paralysis subsided. Hailey shared on a June episode of Good Morning America that Justin is “doing really well” and “feeling a lot better.” She acknowledged it was a terrifying and seemingly random situation but assured everyone that he would make a full recovery, expressing her gratitude that he was okay.
Jamie Foxx initially chose to keep his hospitalization in April 2023 confidential, but eventually shared details about the ordeal. In an Atlanta incident, as he described in his 2024 Netflix special “What Had Happened Was…”, he said, “I had such a severe headache that I asked my friend for an aspirin. Before I could get it, I passed out and don’t remember for about 20 days.”
A doctor initially treated him with a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his concerned sister, Deidra Dixon, drove him to another hospital where they discovered the cause: He had suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day, Foxx woke up May 4 in a wheelchair and was unable to walk. He then went to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“I want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I truly needed them.
The television personality disclosed that she briefly lost consciousness while participating in a mile run, an initial task on the NBC competition show.
In a conversation on “Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser,” she clarified, “I recall very little. What I do remember is the sound of a helicopter. It felt as if I was drifting. Then my grandfather appeared. After that, I experienced darkness. But then I saw light, which made me realize, I realized I had passed away that day.
She went on to explain, “My internal systems were failing, it turned out I had a condition called rhabdomyolysis. This means my body was essentially giving up on me.
In 2019, Emilia Clarke, who was known for her battle scene performances in Game of Thrones, wrote an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker.
At the gym, she described experiencing severe headaches, vomiting, and worsening pain that she suspected was related to her brain. She was rushed to the hospital for a scan.
Upon diagnosis, she learned she had a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke caused by bleeding in the space surrounding the brain. Emmy nominee Emilia clarified that she had an aneurysm, an arterial rupture.
She underwent immediate surgery to seal the aneurysm and described the pain as “unbearable.” During her recovery, she experienced aphasia and was incoherent, speaking nonsense.
A week later, the aphasia subsided, and she left the hospital after a month-long stay. However, in 2013 during another brain scan, she learned that a growth had doubled in size and required another surgery.
During this second operation, they accessed her brain through her skull. Fortunately, Emilia shared that she’s now “fully recovered.
Snoop Dogg‘s daughter Cori Broadus is grateful for her family.
Because after she suffered a “severe stroke” in January 2024, her loved ones rushed to be by her side.
“I texted them that I just had a stroke and sent them a picture,” she told TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024. “Everybody just came to my rescue.”
Because of other medical concerns, Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than she initially expected.
“I could have went home after my stroke, but my lupus wasn’t doing so well,” the Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story star continued. “My kidneys were failing. It was a lot going on.”
Today, Cori is on the mend.
“I’m doing great,” she added. “I just had a little bit of motor skills that I had to work back on. But other than that, I was fine.”
In the 20s of her life, Shailene Woodley’s health wasn’t great. She faced numerous health issues, including losing her hearing and experiencing stomach pain after eating almost everything. These problems were complex, with various doctors offering different diagnoses. Determined to find answers, she combined traditional medical approaches with holistic healing methods. This journey of 10 years was challenging as it also led to fear of food due to stomach discomfort, which in turn caused mental issues like body dysmorphia and identity confusion. However, after focusing on her physical and mental well-being, Shailene is now feeling much healthier and happier.
