If you’ve signed up for the official beta program of PlayStation 5, or have expressed interest in Marvel’s Tokon: Fighting Souls, it’s worthwhile to take a peek at your inbox right away.
Go on, you’re not being rude – we’ll wait.
Have you obtained access yet? If you’ve received an email, you should now have your download code and time slot assigned. However, if you haven’t received one yet, don’t worry; they might be sending them out in batches at different times.
This is important to clarify: The version you’re seeing right now is a preliminary one (a beta), and our guidelines ask participants not to post videos online or talk about their experience. However, with the servers going live, it’s likely that these rules will be quickly overlooked by some. Nonetheless, it’s good to keep the guidelines in mind.
For those joining late, this superhero battle is Sony’s initial foray into creating their own fighting game. They’ve collaborated with Japanese developer Arc System Works to launch a 4 versus 4 event, and based on what we’ve seen so far, it looks absolutely stunning.
The beta version we’re releasing now might be the initial move leading up to a launch next year. During this period, our studio will rigorously test the server functionality and fine-tune the game’s overall balance.
As a gamer, I can tell you that there’ll likely be more chances for public beta testing down the line. No need to fret too much if you missed out this time around.
