Cheryl Hines Addresses Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Marriage Turmoil Rumors

Cheryl Hines is setting the record straight.

The actress from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” has denied speculations that her marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is facing difficulties, following his switch from the Democratic party before the 2024 election and his subsequent appointment as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Donald Trump in January.

In the interview with The Wall Street Journal on August 12, Hines stated that Bobby and he discuss everything openly, which allows them to navigate through all situations smoothly. They have a strong bond of friendship and mutual trust.

Due to recent speculations about their relationship, particularly the news that Olivia Nuzzi, the Washington Correspondent for New York magazine, was reportedly put on leave in September 2024 following claims of a personal relationship with RFK Jr., the 59-year-old prefers not to address these rumors. It’s worth noting that after leaving the publication, Nuzzi admitted to People magazine about having an intimate relationship with a former reporting subject, but she didn’t identify who it was and denied it ever escalated into a physical one.

According to Hines, he doesn’t see the necessity of addressing each rumor and news headline by providing explanations or defenses.

Regarding how the actress from Bad Moms, who married RFK Jr. in 2014, perceives those criticizing her partner for joining the MAGA movement following his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race as an independent? She finds it hard to comprehend why this is causing such distress among people.

Initially, she expressed her thoughts as, ‘Gosh, I’m puzzled by their apparent anger or disappointment.’ She further explained that some individuals find it difficult to discuss the matter at hand, which she found quite peculiar, almost oddly so.

The actress from RV, known as the mother of Catherine Rose Young (aged 21) with her former partner Paul Young, also expressed support for the controversial stance against vaccinations held by the politician. She mentioned having similar doubts about the scientific evidence that establishes vaccines as an effective preventative measure for various diseases.

Is there ever a point where science is finalized, Hines questioned. He noted that everything, including technology, is subject to change and evolution.

Joseph Patrick “Joe” Kennedy married Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald on Oct. 7, 1914.

By the year 1932, they had welcomed nine children into their family: Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., John F. Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward Kennedy.

Born July 25, 1915, Joe Jr. was going to be president, as far as his father was concerned.

He attended the Democratic National Convention in 1940 as a delegate and had intentions to pursue a career in Congress once he was discharged from the Navy. However, tragedy struck on August 12, 1944, when he and his fellow pilot Wilford John Willy lost their lives. The unfortunate event occurred during a bombing mission that was part of Operation Aphrodite, as the explosives they were transporting detonated prematurely.

The remains of neither pilot could be found, and they are listed among the missing on the memorial tablets at the American Cemetery and Memorial in Cambridge, which pays tribute to the fallen soldiers during World War II.

Born on May 29, 1917, it was John who climbed his way up through Congress, eventually becoming a U.S. Senator. Later, he went on to be elected as the President of the United States in 1960.

I had the privilege of tying the knot with Jacqueline Bouvier on September 12, 1953. Our union was blessed with two beautiful children; our daughter Caroline Kennedy arrived on November 27, 1957, and our son John F. Kennedy Jr. joined us on November 25, 1960.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share a poignant tale close to my heart. In the year of ’56, my precious daughter, Arabella, was born still. Then, in Aug. ’63, my preterm son, Patrick, graced us with his presence for just 39 hours before he had to leave us too soon.

JFK was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963, one of the defining events of the 20th century.

During the Obama administration, Caroline served as the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, while in the Biden administration, she held the same position in Australia. In 1986, she tied the knot with Edwin “Ed” Schlossberg.

They have daughters Rose Kennedy Schlossberg (born June 25, 1988), Tatiana Kennedy Schlossberg (May 5, 1990), and son John “Jack” Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg (born January 19, 1993).

TV producer Rose went to Harvard like her mom and married restaurateur Rory McAuliffe in 2022.

Back in 2014, Tatiana, who was unaware that her article in the New York Times about a deceased bear found in Central Park connected to her cousin RFK Jr., graduated from Yale University and later tied the knot with her college sweetheart, George Moran, in 2017. In 2022, they were blessed with their first child, Edwin Jr.

Jack, who studied at Yale, completed the joint JD/MBA program at Harvard, and is known for his entertaining posts on social media, delivered a speech at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Additionally, he served as a political correspondent for Vogue, reporting on the latest presidential election.

In an interview with Vogue in 2024, he expressed that his family’s tradition of public service has greatly inspired him. He takes this inspiration seriously and aspires to contribute uniquely. While he harbors lofty aspirations, he is also mindful of the positive impact he wants to create right now.

The man who was titled People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1988, and often recognized as one of the most sought-after singles worldwide, tied the knot with Calvin Klein publicist Carolyn Bessette on September 21, 1996.

Tragically, John F. Kennedy Jr., who was frequently mourned by his family, passed away prematurely, much like his father did. His life’s promise was cut short when he, along with Carolyn and her sister Lauren Bessette, perished in a plane crash on July 16, 1999.

Rosemary (at right, with sister Kathleen and mom Rose) was born Sept. 13, 1918.

At a specialized boarding school catering to students with learning challenges, Rosemary grappled with behavioral problems. Eventually, these issues prompted her father to arrange for a prefrontal lobotomy when she turned 23 years old.

After undergoing the experimental treatment, which was believed to offer a solution for mental illness, Rosemary unfortunately suffered severe disabilities as a result. It was a hope that this treatment would aid her, but it did not. She spent the remainder of her life (she passed away on Jan 7, 2005) in an institution.

Years later, Rose shared with historian Doris Kearns Goodwin that she had always thought her friend could have lived like a Kennedy woman, at a slightly more leisurely pace. However, everything changed in just a few short minutes.

Born Feb. 20, 1920, Kathleen got a kick out of life, hence her jaunty nickname.

On May 6, 1944, she chose to wed Lord Hartington, also known as William Cavendish, in a civil ceremony in London. However, this union went against her mother’s wishes because her fiance was not Catholic, and unfortunately, only her brother Joe Jr. attended the wedding from her family due to this religious difference.

A month later, William, a major in the British Army, was killed by a sniper in Belgium.

She stayed in England and developed feelings for William Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, the 8th Earl Fitzwilliam, who was still married at the time. Before they could obtain a divorce, they tragically passed away when the plane transporting them to the French Riviera crashed on May 13, 1948.

Eunice was born July 10, 1921.

Eleanor, a passionate benefactor and initiator of the Special Olympics, tied the knot with Robert Sargent Shriver Jr. on May 23, 1953.

I am a devoted follower speaking about my own family, specifically my siblings: Robert Shriver III, born on April 28, 1954 (often known as Bobby), Maria Shriver, born on November 6, 1955, Timothy, born on August 29, 1959, Mark, born on February 17, 1964, and Anthony, born on July 20, 1965.

Upon her passing at the age of 88, Eunice was blessed with 19 grandchildren. Among them were Maria’s four children with her former spouse, Arnold Schwarzenegger: Katherine (born December 13, 1989), Patrick (September 18, 1993), Christina (July 23, 1991), and Christopher (September 27, 1997).

On April 24, 1954, Patricia, who was born on May 6, 1924, tied the knot with Peter Lawford, thereby integrating the Rat Pack into her family.

She married a British actor, resulting in the birth of four children: Christopher Lawford (born 1955), Sydney Maleia Lawford (1956), Victoria Francis Lawford (1958), and Robin Elizabeth Lawford. However, they divorced in 1966.

During a visit to the Lawfords’ Malibu residence in 1962, Peter is often recognized for having facilitated the introduction of JFK (his brother-in-law) to Marilyn Monroe.

In 2006, I sadly lost my beloved mentor, Patricia. Later, in 2018, her resilient son, Christopher – who had been married three times – succumbed to a heart attack.

Back in 2006, it was with great sorrow that I bid farewell to my esteemed guide, Patricia. In the following year of 2018, her valiant son Christopher, who had been married thrice, faced a heart attack and passed away.

Known affectionately by many across the nation as Bobby Kennedy, he tied the knot with Ethel Skakel on June 17, 1950.

or more informally:

Bobby Kennedy, a well-loved figure in our country, got married to Ethel Skakel on June 17, 1950.

The family ended up welcoming a total of 11 children: Kathleen, Joseph II, Robert Jr., David, Courtney, Michael, Kerry, Christopher, Maxwell, Douglas, and Rory.

Ethel was carrying Rory at the time Bobby was tragically killed on June 6, 1968, just following his victory in the California Democratic primary election.

David Kennedy tragically passed away due to a drug overdose on the 25th of April, 1984, at the age of 28. Michael Kennedy met an unfortunate end on December 31, 1997, after colliding with a tree while skiing and playing catch with a football during a family vacation in Aspen, Colorado. The incident occurred when he was 37 years old, and he shared three children with his wife, Victoria Gifford.

Ethel Kennedy experienced the loss of her husband when their oldest child was just 16 years old. Remarkably, she became a grandmother to 34 grandchildren. Regrettably, two of her grandchildren have passed away: Saoirse Hill, daughter of Courtney and Paul Hill, who died at the age of 22 in a drug overdose incident in 2019, and Maeve Kennedy McKean, daughter of Kathleen and David Townsend, who tragically perished in a canoeing accident in 2020.

RFK Jr., born Jan. 17, 1954, is a thrice-married father of six.

In my personal journey, I’m fortunate to be a parent to two incredible individuals: Robert Francis “Bobby” Kennedy III, born in the year 1984, and Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, who graced us with her presence in 1988. These remarkable souls were birthed from my union with my first beloved partner, Emily Black.

They divorced in 1994 after 12 years of marriage.

RFK III has been married to CIA analyst turned author and TV host Amaryllis Fox since 2017.

They have a daughter named Bobby, born on January 7, 2019, and a son called Cassius Watts Thoreau Kennedy who was born on August 30, 2021. Additionally, Amaryllis has a daughter named Zoë from a past relationship.

In simpler terms, the Stanford graduate expressed that he views life as an amalgamation of various experiences, some pleasant and others challenging, and he believes that accumulating as many experiences as possible can only lead to a richer existence.

Simply recognizing Ben Affleck casually, according to a source, propelled Kick Kennedy to the peak of the trending list in August 2024, following the filing of Jennifer Lopez’s divorce papers from the actor.

Affleck’s representatives swiftly dismissed rumors of a romantic involvement, stating emphatically to TopMob News that all reports about him and Kick are completely false.

So nothing about being a Kennedy had really changed in a decade. Or a century.

During an interview with T&C, she shared that often people inquire about what it feels like to be a Kennedy. She admitted, ‘Perhaps it’s the chilling effect of the water,’ but she confessed, ‘I’m always left wondering.’ When she encounters her image or name in tabloids, a tightness forms in her stomach. It simply doesn’t resonate with her-it’s like reading something that isn’t authentic.

Although she didn’t personally know her great aunt, the one she was named after, she still felt a deep connection to her. Tragically, this beloved relative passed away two years prior to when her father was born.

“It’s funny how similar we are,” Kick mused. “She was fun and social and a performer in many ways.”

In the year 1994, RFK Jr. exchanged vows with Mary Richardson. Their union resulted in four offspring: Conor Richardson Kennedy (born on July 25), Kyra LeMoyne Kennedy (on Aug. 22), William Finbar “Finn” Kennedy (Nov. 8) and Aidan Caohman Vieques Kennedy (July 13, 2001).

The couple were legally separated when Mary died by suicide in 2012.

Father and sons: Conor, Aidan and RFK III.

After becoming well-known at 18 as a Harvard student and introducing Taylor Swift to his family, Conor has generally kept a low key lifestyle, apart from his notable activism and other ventures.

In the brief span of a few months, I found myself entangled in a whirlwind romance. Subsequently, I ventured forth to complete my studies at Georgetown Law School. Needless to say, our tale managed to make quite an impact on the news.

“Taylor Swift’s ex Conor Kennedy” is now engaged to singer Giulia Be.

Kyra, a regular among the high-fashion set, lives in Milan.

In a video released on August 27, 2024, in collaboration with Elle and Bvlgari, she mentioned that she is currently engaged in a tribute project dedicated to her deceased mother.

In the video, she wonders if she’s undergone a transformation in her life. Indeed, I can confirm that she has. When I first knew her as a child, she was a completely different individual. But when she grew into adulthood, it felt like an almost 180-degree shift had occurred.

RFK Jr. married Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines in 2014.

The actress shares daughter Catherine Young (born March 8, 2004) with ex-husband Paul Young

On Father’s Day in 2018, Kick expressed gratitude on Instagram by saying, “Thank you for blessing me with all these quirky siblings!

Ethel Kennedy, along with Robert F. Kennedy, has a seventh child who is blessed with three daughters. These daughters are the twins Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo and Cara Kennedy Cuomo (born in 1995), and Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo (born in 1997). Shared with ex-husband Andrew Cuomo, these daughters are an essential part of their family.

Kerry and Andrew, the former New York Governor (from 2011 to 2021), got married in 1990 but separated in 2003. Their divorce was finalized in 2005.

Jean, born on February 20, 1928, was the eighth child in a family of nine born to Joe and Rose. This remarkable individual established the VSA Kennedy Arts Center, and during the Clinton administration, served as the United States Ambassador to Ireland.

Back in the year 1956, on May 19th, I was privileged to tie the knot with Stephen Edward Smith, a tactical mastermind of JFK’s presidential campaign. Together, we became parents to two remarkable sons, Stephen Smith Jr. and William Smith, as well as two lovely daughters, Amanda Smith and Kym Smith.

Jean died June 17, 2020, having outlived all of her siblings.

Senator Ted Kennedy, often more notorious than 90% of his family combined, had three children with his first wife Joan Bennett: Kara Kennedy (born February 27, 1960), Edward Kennedy Jr. (Septemer 26, 1961), and Patrick Kennedy II (July 14, 1967).

He and Joan divorced in 1982 after 24 years of marriage and he wed Victoria Reggie in 1992.

Kara suffered a fatal heart attack on Sept. 16, 2011, two years after her father died.
