Chris Appleton Breaks Silence on Divorce From Lukas Gage

Chris Appleton is adding some highlights to his divorce from Lukas Gage.

Approximately two years since the divorce filing by the hairstylist, he openly expressed his feelings about the split for the first time in public.

Chris expressed during the August 6th episode of Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, “It’s possible to love someone without guaranteeing a lifelong happily ever after.” He added, “Just because it might not last forever doesn’t diminish its significance.

I find myself reflecting on every relationship I’ve been in, realizing there’s always something valuable to take away – lessons about what matters most in terms of setting boundaries, experiencing love, and expressing affection. And that, my dear, is a truly enchanting testament to personal growth and evolution.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m happy to share my personal journey: At 42, I found myself embarking on a new chapter in life when I tied the knot with my beloved partner Lukas, 30, in April 2023, just two short months after our romance began to blossom and stir up whispers among the public. However, I’d like to address those who have voiced concerns about the pace of our relationship timeline. To them, I say that love knows no schedule or timetable, and it was our heartfelt connection that guided us down this path.

Chris clarified, “Speed isn’t always synonymous with carelessness; sometimes it signifies optimism. In every relationship I’ve ever been in, I’ve approached with an open and unreserved heart, and I harbor no remorse for doing so.

He stated, ‘It’s unfortunate that people are frequently criticized for being sincere with their hearts, even when things don’t turn out as planned. The irony is, you can develop strategies to shield yourself, but I’d choose to love and risk failure over never experiencing any emotion at all.’

Additionally, Chris mentioned that he had been grappling with significant personal distress following the conclusion of his marriage, a ceremony officiated by his acquaintance and associate, Kim Kardashian. But with the support of his loved ones and counselor, he came to understand that it’s alright to not always be in a good state of mind.

As a lifestyle expert specializing in hairstyling, I’ve come to realize that one of the most profound lessons I’ve learned is the importance of finding harmony, not just visually but also within myself. My work revolves around aesthetics, yet discovering this inner alignment and peace has brought an unexpected tranquility into my life. It wasn’t an effortless journey, but once I managed to synchronize these two aspects, when I genuinely feel good about myself on the inside, that’s when my true potential truly shines through.

Apart from that, Chris chose not to comment on the public conjecture regarding his divorce (it’s been clarified by Lukas before that there were no infidelity allegations in their relationship). Instead, his main priority was tending to his children, Billy, 22, and Kitty-blu, 20, whom he co-parents with ex-partner Kate Katon.

Speaking openly, as a father, my desire was to shield my children from harm. I understand that any connection I form will inevitably involve discussions about our past. For me, achieving internal harmony – something I’ve never had before in my life – discovering it, feeling at ease with it, and finding joy was an incredibly moving experience.

Approximately four weeks following the announcement of their relationship, it has been verified that the actor from “You” and the famous hairstylist became engaged, as reported by TopMob News on April 5th.

On Instagram, posted on March 23rd, the renowned hairdresser of celebrities published an endearing photo of them together, taken during their winter getaway to the slopes.

Around the end of March, Chris titled a collection of pictures from their recent vacations together as, “My beloved one.” This post was shared not long after he publicly declared their relationship, expressing his joy and deep affection by saying he is “extremely happy” and “deeply in love.

Just a few days following their holiday, the duo graced the red carpet at the “Vanity Fair” and TikTok’s Celebration of Vanities: An Evening for Young Hollywood, held in Los Angeles on March 8th.

Following the sharing of vacation photos by the star of ‘The White Lotus’, Chris expressed his admiration for the actor by commenting with a heart emoji and the word, “Impressive one”.
