Chris Pratt Defends Wife Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Cousin RFK Jr.

Chris Pratt has only positive feelings towards Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Although Chris Pratt acknowledges the debates surrounding the politician being the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, from his perspective, he perceives him primarily as a relative-in-law to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

As a die-hard fan, let me share that I’ve had the pleasure of spending numerous moments in his company. On a recent episode of Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast (August 18 to be exact), I enthusiastically disclosed this fact. The setting was quite casual, resembling a family dinner more than anything else. And let me tell you, our connection was incredibly smooth and comfortable.

The individual, aged 46, expressed his feelings for Maria Shriver’s first cousin by saying, “I find him amazing. I think he’s hilarious. I appreciate him. I adore him.

Even though Chris, who has children Lyla (age 5), Eloise (age 3), Ford (9 months old), and Jack (13 years) with Katherine, as well as a son named Jack with ex-partner Anna Faris, can relate to the public’s perception of Robert due to his own encounters in Hollywood.

Starting off, politics can indeed be a dirty game, as Pawnee’s finest from Parks and Recreation might say. While I personally don’t engage in politics, I’ve noticed similar dynamics in Hollywood, where it too can be politically charged. In this realm, I’ve encountered instances where the true nature of an individual seems to starkly differ from their public persona. Sometimes, you’re left thinking, ‘That’s completely fabricated!’

In addition, he acknowledged that Robert’s strong connection with President Donald Trump had undeniably fueled the ongoing controversy. Furthermore, he remarked, “Associating yourself with the most divisive president in history naturally leads people to perceive you negatively.

When Chris is with Robert, whose father was Robert F. Kennedy, the younger brother of Eunice Kennedy (Maria’s mom), they are usually engaged in activities like playing cards, Mafia, enjoying themselves, or having dinner together.

Chris went on to say, ‘I won’t verify if what he says is true by questioning him deeply. Instead, I generally presume they aren’t accurate, and mostly, I hope he fares well.’

Nonetheless, some members of the Kennedy family, including Caroline Kennedy, a cousin of Robert’s and daughter of the late President John F. Kennedy, are less inclined to show sympathy towards him.

In her letter sent to the Senate in January before his cabinet appointment, Caroline stated, “Bobby has been a part of my life since we were children, growing up together.” She added, “It comes as no shock, given that Bobby himself possesses predatory traits, that he keeps birds of prey as pets.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my personal observations. At 67, I’ve witnessed a heartbreaking pattern in this individual’s family. I’ve seen his younger relatives, brothers and cousins, sadly walk the same destructive path of substance abuse. Whether it was in his basement, garage, or college dorm room, he seemed to be the epicenter where drugs were readily accessible.

The former Australian ambassador, whose son, Jack Schlossberg, has publicly criticized RFK Jr., did not mince words when she stated emphatically that he has a tendency to distort truths, deceive, and engage in dishonest behavior in his current life.

As a devoted follower, I must confess, he seems to be pushing the newcomers towards AA gatherings. However, beneath that veneer of guidance, I can’t shake off this feeling that Bobby is hooked on the spotlight and control – craving attention and power like no tomorrow.

TopMob reached out to RFK Jr. for comment at the time but never heard back.

For a full breakdown of the Kennedy family tree, keep reading.

Joseph Patrick “Joe” Kennedy married Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald on Oct. 7, 1914.

By 1932, they had a family of nine: Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., John F. Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward Kennedy.

Born July 25, 1915, Joe Jr. was going to be president, as far as his father was concerned.

He attended the Democratic National Convention in 1940 as a delegate and had intentions to pursue a career in Congress following his service in the Navy. However, tragically, he and his fellow pilot, Wilford John Willy, lost their lives on August 12, 1944, when the explosives they were transporting unexpectedly detonated during a bombing mission that was part of Operation Aphrodite. This unfortunate incident claimed both of their lives.

The pilot’s remains were never found, and their names are engraved on the memorial tablets at the American Cemetery and Memorial in Cambridge, which pays tribute to soldiers lost during World War II.

Born on May 29, 1917, it was John who achieved the milestone of entering Congress. Later, he climbed higher up the political ladder to become a U.S. Senator. Eventually, he was victorious in the presidential election of 1960.

On September 12, 1953, he tied the knot with Jacqueline Bouvier, and in 1957, they were blessed with a daughter named Caroline Kennedy, followed by their son John F. Kennedy Jr., born on November 25, 1960.

In the year 1956, a child named Arabella was unfortunately born still. On August 7th, 1963, their brother Patrick entered the world prematurely and survived for just 39 hours.

JFK was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963, one of the defining events of the 20th century.

Caroline, who served as the United States ambassador to Japan under the Obama administration and to Australia in the Biden administration, tied the knot with Edwin “Ed” Schlossberg in 1986.

They have three children: Rose Kennedy Schlossberg (born June 25, 1988), Tatiana Kennedy Schlossberg (born May 5, 1990), and John “Jack” Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg (born Jan. 19, 1993).

TV producer Rose went to Harvard like her mom and married restaurateur Rory McAuliffe in 2022.

In 2014, an unaware Tatiana, now a journalist, published an article about a deceased bear found in Central Park in the New York Times without knowing it involved her cousin RFK Jr. Fast forward to 2017, she graduated from Yale and tied the knot with her college sweetheart, George Moran. The couple was blessed with a child, Edwin Jr., in 2022.

As a seasoned professional with degrees from Yale, Harvard’s JD/MBA program, and a knack for making waves on social media, I had the honor of gracing the stage at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, where I also served as a political commentator for the prestigious fashion magazine, Vogue, covering the latest presidential election.

In 2024, he shared with Vogue that his family’s tradition of public service greatly inspires him. He understands the gravity of this legacy and aspires to add his own chapter to it. Although his aspirations are grand, he is also aware that he is making a difference in the present moment.

The man who was crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1988, widely regarded as one of the most sought-after bachelors globally, tied the knot with Calvin Klein publicist Carolyn Bessette on September 21, 1996.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share the heart-wrenching story that still resonates strongly within me – the tragic fate that befell John F. Kennedy Jr., his family, and the Bessette clan on a fateful summer day in 1999. This unforeseen turn of events, which seemed almost cruel in its timing, claimed the lives of three remarkable souls: JFK Jr., his beloved companion Carolyn, and her sister Lauren Bessette, in a devastating plane crash that left me, and countless others, in utter shock and grief. The untimely demise of these extraordinary individuals not only robbed their families of cherished loved ones but also snuffed out the promising futures and potential contributions they were destined to make.

Rosemary (at right, with sister Kathleen and mom Rose) was born Sept. 13, 1918.

At a specialized boarding school designed for children with learning disabilities, Rosemary struggled with behavioral problems. This eventually prompted her father to authorize a prefrontal lobotomy when she turned 23 years old.

In my expertise as a lifestyle guide, I must share a poignant narrative about Rosemary, who underwent an innovative procedure aimed at alleviating mental health struggles. Although Joe, her loved one, harbored high hopes that this treatment would bring solace to her, the outcome was heartbreaking. Post-procedure, Rosemary found herself severely impaired and spent the remainder of her life (she passed away on Jan. 7, 2005) within an institution. This story serves as a reminder of the complexities that can arise in mental health treatment journeys.

As a lifestyle expert reflecting on the past, I’ve always held the belief that she could have embodied the grace and elegance of a Kennedy woman, albeit at a more leisurely pace. However, years later, as I looked back, it all seemed to vanish in the blink of an eye, in mere minutes. This is what Rose shared with historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Born Feb. 20, 1920, Kathleen got a kick out of life, hence her jaunty nickname.

On May 6, 1944, she chose to wed William Cavendish, the Marquess of Hartington, in a civil ceremony held in London. The decision went against her mother’s wishes because her fiance wasn’t Catholic, and as a result, only her brother Joe Jr. was present from her family at the wedding.

A month later, William, a major in the British Army, was killed by a sniper in Belgium.

She stayed in England and developed feelings for William Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, who was still married and the 8th Earl Fitzwilliam. However, before he could finalize a divorce, they tragically passed away when the plane transporting them to the French Riviera crashed on May 13, 1948.

Eunice was born July 10, 1921.

On May 23, 1953, Eunice Kennedy, a dedicated humanitarian and creator of the Special Olympics, tied the knot with Robert Sargent Shriver Jr.

Eunice Kennedy, a compassionate philanthropist known for founding the Special Olympics, got married to Robert Sargent Shriver Jr. on May 23, 1953.

The Shrivers have five children: Robert “Bobby” Shriver III (born on April 28, 1954), Maria Shriver (born November 6, 1955), Timothy (born August 29, 1959), Mark (born February 17, 1964), and Anthony (born July 20, 1965).

Robert “Bobby” Shriver III, Maria Shriver, Timothy, Mark, and Anthony are the five children of the Shrivers. Born on these respective dates: April 28, 1954, November 6, 1955, August 29, 1959, February 17, 1964, and July 20, 1965.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: When the remarkable Eunice passed away at 88, she left behind a beautiful legacy of 19 grandchildren, among them Maria’s four offspring with her former husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger. They are Katherine (born on Dec. 13, 1989), Patrick (Sept. 18, 1993), Christina (July 23, 1991), and Christopher (Sept. 27, 1997).

On April 24, 1954, Patricia tied the knot with Peter Lawford, thus introducing the famous Rat Pack group to her family on May 6, 1924.

She married a British actor and together they had four children – Christopher Lawford (born in 1955), Sydney Maleia Lawford (born in 1956), Victoria Francis Lawford (born in 1958), and Robin Elizabeth Lawford, before their divorce took place in 1966.

The British actor was her husband, and they had four children together – Christopher Lawford, Sydney Maleia Lawford, Victoria Francis Lawford, and Robin Elizabeth Lawford – before their marriage ended in a divorce in 1966.

Peter, who passed away in 1984, was a trusted confidant of his brother-in-law, JFK, and is often acknowledged for being the one who introduced the future president to Marilyn Monroe during a trip to the Lawfords’ residence in Malibu.

In the year 2006, Patricia sadly lost her life. Her son Christopher, who had been married three times, suffered a fatal heart attack in 2018.

Known to many as Bobby Kennedy, he exchanged vows with Ethel Skakel on the 17th of June, 1950.

Or

In familiar circles, he was known as Bobby Kennedy. On June 17, 1950, he married Ethel Skakel.

The family ended up welcoming eleven children, among them Kathleen, Joseph II, Robert Jr., David, Courtney, Michael, Kerry, Christopher, Maxwell, Douglas and Rory.

Ethel was expecting a child named Rory when Bobby was tragically killed on June 6, 1968, not long after he triumphed in the California Democratic primary.

David Kennedy passed away due to a drug overdose on the 25th of April, 1984, at the age of 28. Michael Kennedy met his end on December 31, 1997, in an accident while skiing and playing catch with a football during a family vacation in Aspen, Colorado. Sharing three children with wife Victoria Gifford, he was 37 years old at the time of his death.

Ethel Kennedy experienced the tragic loss of her husband at a time when their oldest child was only 16. Despite this heartbreaking event, she went on to become a grandmother of 34. Unfortunately, two of her grandchildren have passed away. Courtney, daughter of Paul Hill, and Saoirse Hill, died in 2019 at the age of 22 due to an accidental drug overdose. Another grandchild, Maeve Kennedy McKean, daughter of Kathleen and David Townsend, lost her life in a canoeing accident in 2020 at the age of 40.

RFK Jr., born Jan. 17, 1954, is a thrice-married father of six.

He has a son, Robert Francis “Bobby” Kennedy III (born in 1984), and a daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy (born in 1988), with his first wife Emily Black.

They divorced in 1994 after 12 years of marriage.

RFK III has been married to CIA analyst turned author and TV host Amaryllis Fox since 2017.

They have Bobby (born January 7, 2019) and Cassius Watts Thoreau Kennedy (born August 30, 2021), who are their children, along with Zoë, Amaryllis’ daughter from a past relationship.

In simpler terms, the Stanford alum expressed that he believes life consists of numerous experiences, both pleasant and challenging, and the greater the number of experiences one has, the richer their life becomes. (Stated in 2012 to Town & Country)

In brief acquaintance with Ben Affleck, as a term was used, catapulted Kick Kennedy into the trending list just days following Jennifer Lopez’s divorce filing from the actor in August 2024.

Affleck’s representative promptly dismissed rumors of a romantic involvement, confirming to TopMob News that all reports about him and Kick were false.

So nothing about being a Kennedy had really changed in a decade. Or a century.

She shared with T&C, “Often, folks inquire, ‘What’s it like to be a Kennedy?'” To which she responded, “Perhaps it’s the peculiarity of the situation, but I often feel puzzled. When I see my likeness or name splashed across the tabloids, a knot forms in my stomach. It’s not about me-it’s like reading something that’s not genuine.

Despite not having ever met her, she felt a strong connection to the aunt she was named after, who passed away two years prior to her father’s birth.

“It’s funny how similar we are,” Kick mused. “She was fun and social and a performer in many ways.”

In the year 1994, RFK Jr. exchanged marriage vows with Mary Richardson. Their union resulted in four offspring: Conor Richardson Kennedy, born on July 25, Kyra LeMoyne Kennedy who arrived on Aug. 22, William Finbar “Finn” Kennedy born on Nov. 8, and Aidan Caohman Vieques Kennedy who was born on July 13 in the year 2001.

The couple were legally separated when Mary died by suicide in 2012.

Father and sons: Conor, Aidan and RFK III.

Despite his significant public visibility as a high-profile activist and through various exploits, Conor has generally kept a low key personal life since he became well-known at 18, when he was a student at Harvard and invited Taylor Swift to meet his family for the first time.

The brief romantic fling they shared spanned just a few months, yet later, Conor completed his studies at Georgetown Law School, still making news headlines.

“Taylor Swift’s ex Conor Kennedy” is now engaged to singer Giulia Be.

Kyra, a regular among the high-fashion set, lives in Milan.

In a video released on August 27, 2024, in collaboration with Elle and Bvlgari, she mentioned that she is currently engaged in a project as a tribute to her beloved mother who has passed away.

In that video, I’m pondering if I’ve undergone a transformative change in my life, and the answer is unequivocally yes. As a child, I was a different person altogether. But as I grew into adulthood, I took a dramatic turn, making me almost unrecognizable from my younger self.

RFK Jr. married Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines in 2014.

The actress shares daughter Catherine Young (born March 8, 2004) with ex-husband Paul Young

On Father’s Day in 2018, I took to Instagram to express my gratitude, saying, “Thank you for bestowing upon me this lively group of siblings!

Ethel Kennedy, along with Robert F. Kennedy, is the parent of their seventh child who has three daughters: twin girls Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo and Cara Kennedy-Cuomo (born in 1995), and Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo (born in 1997). These daughters were shared with Ethel’s former husband, Andrew Cuomo.

Kerry and Andrew, who served as the Governor of New York between 2011 and 2021, tied the knot in 1990 but parted ways in 2003, eventually finalizing their divorce in 2005.

Jean was born on February 20, 1928, as the eighth child in a family of nine, to parents Joe and Rose. Later in life, she established the VSA Kennedy Arts Center and held the position of U.S. Ambassador to Ireland during the Clinton presidency.

On May 19, 1956, she got married to Stephen Edward Smith, a strategist for John F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign. Together, they had four children: Stephen Smith Jr., William Smith, Amanda Smith, and Kym Smith.

Jean died June 17, 2020, having outlived all of her siblings.

Senator Ted Kennedy, often regarded as the most scandalous member of his family by many, had three children with his first wife Joan Bennett: Kara Kennedy (born February 27, 1960), Edward Kennedy Jr. (Septemer 26, 1961) and Patrick Kennedy II (July 14, 1967).

He and Joan divorced in 1982 after 24 years of marriage and he wed Victoria Reggie in 1992.

Kara suffered a fatal heart attack on Sept. 16, 2011, two years after her father died.
