Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussa Join Forces for Daughter’s Birthday

Prepare to flip out over Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack’s latest reunion. 

Tarek and Christina El Moussa celebrated their daughter Taylor’s 15th birthday with a party that included both of their families.

It was so sweet to see Christina celebrating with everyone! She posted a group photo with Taylor – she looked adorable in a pink dress – and of course, all the kids were there. That includes Brayden, Tarek and Heather’s son, and little Tristan too. Hudson, who Christina shares with Ant, was there as well, and it was lovely to see Christina with her new boyfriend, Christopher. It felt like a really happy family moment!

As Christina wrote alongside her Sept. 23 Instagram Stories post, “Celebrating our girl.”

As Christina celebrated her teen’s recent achievement, she also talked about her close relationship with Taylor and how much it means to her.

Celebrating Taylor’s 15th birthday, Christina Hall shared a sweet message on September 22, posting a selfie with her daughter. She wrote that her relationship with Taylor is everything she’d hoped for since learning she was pregnant, and that she cherishes their time together – from long dinners and trips to meaningful conversations.

Christina expressed her admiration for her daughter’s understanding of herself and her wonderful personality. She shared, “Taylor truly knows who she is, and I couldn’t be prouder to raise such a smart, wise, beautiful, and confident girl. I love you, Tay.”

Heather also had also shared a birthday message for her stepdaughter.

Heather Rae El Moussa celebrated Taylor’s 15th birthday on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself, Tarek, and Taylor from a previous family event – Taylor’s middle school graduation back in June. She expressed how quickly time has flown and shared her love for Taylor.

Heather shared how thankful she is to have this person in her life and to be their bonus mom. She said they’ve grown into a mature, kind, and beautiful person, and she appreciates their love and affection. Heather also expressed how much she enjoys spending time with them and looks forward to making many more fun memories together. She finished by saying she loves them very much.

Honestly, I wasn’t shocked to see Christina hanging out with Tarek and even Heather! They’ve actually become good friends since their divorce in 2018. I’ve noticed they’ve been celebrating each other’s birthdays a lot lately – they recently celebrated Heather turning 38 on September 16th, and before that, they had a double date to celebrate Tarek’s 44th birthday back in June. It’s nice to see them all getting along!

Heather shared a photo on Instagram with her husband, Christina and Christopher, expressing gratitude for their friendships. She wrote that despite some challenges, she’s looking forward to many more celebrations and successes with them in the future.

Christina and Tarek welcomed their first child together on Sept. 22, 2010.

Even after their divorce, Christina and her ex-husband continued to raise their daughter together. Christina has described her daughter as remarkably mature for her age, able to have profound conversations one moment and act like a typical child the next.

She described Taylor as someone who can easily strike up a conversation with anyone, adding that she’s fun, intelligent, athletic, genuinely happy, and always keeps things interesting.

Christina and Tarek welcomed their second child together on Aug. 20, 2015.

Besides their oldest daughter, Taylor, Tarek and his ex-wife continue to raise their son, Brayden, together. Tarek has often said Brayden is full of energy and has a very kind heart.

Tarek said his son brings so much joy to his life. He feels incredibly lucky to be a father to both his sons and cherishes watching them grow up, calling it the greatest happiness he’s ever known.

Following her separation from Tarek, Christina began dating Ant, a TV host from England, in October 2017. They publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2018, the same month her divorce from Tarek was completed. The couple then married in a winter wedding at their home in Newport Beach, California, on December 22, 2018.

Christina and Ant are parents to son Hudson, who was born in 2019. Ant also has two children, Amelie and Archie, with his former wife, Louise Storey.

The couple was married for just under two years and revealed they were separating in September 2020. Their divorce became official nine months after that.

Since the split, Ant has moved on with actress Renée Zellweger.

Christina and Ant had a son on September 6, 2019. He weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was 19.5 inches long at birth.

When Ant and his ex-wife finalized their divorce in June 2021, they agreed to share legal and physical custody of their son, Hudson. However, in April 2022, Ant filed a request for sole custody, stating in legal documents that his ex-wife only spends about nine days each month with their child.

The former couple reached a custody agreement in December, stating they would continue to share both legal and physical custody of their son, Hudson, according to documents from TopMob News.

Tarek and Heather Rae Young first met on July 4th, 2019, while both attended parties on boats docked near each other in Newport Beach, California. Later that month, they were seen kissing on a yacht, and Tarek confirmed their relationship to TopMob News in August, excitedly sharing, “I never thought I’d say this again, but Heather Rae is officially my girlfriend!”

Oh my gosh, I was SO excited when they announced their engagement in July 2020! And then, the wedding! It was on October 23rd, 2021, and it was absolutely magical – a beautiful outdoor ceremony near Santa Barbara. Seriously, it was like something out of a fairytale when they said their vows. I’ve been following them forever, and it was just perfect!

Heather often calls herself the “bonus mom” to Tarek’s children, Taylor and Brayden. She’s said she feels like she already has two kids, explaining that she helps raise them half the time and loves them as if they were her own. She feels strongly about her role as a supportive and loving figure in their lives.

Tarek and Heather’s son was born on January 31, 2023, weighing 7 pounds and 7 ounces.

Heather explained that Tristan was originally intended to be the baby’s name, but his parents ultimately decided on Tarek instead.

His middle name is a nod to Heather’s dad.

After divorcing her second husband, Ant, Christina started seeing Josh in 2021. They publicly announced their relationship in July, sharing that they’d already been dating for several months.

The *Flip or Flop* star revealed she met Josh, a real estate agent, last spring after a period of personal growth. She explained she was feeling calm and centered, having stepped back from social media, worked with a spiritual coach, and even tried a Bufo toad ceremony to help her “reset” her mind.

Christina and Josh got engaged that September and tied the knot on Oct. 6, 2021.

The couple’s wedding date remained private until Josh filed for divorce on July 15, 2024, stating they had differences that couldn’t be resolved.

The pair finalized their divorce in August 2025.

Before the July 11, 2024, episode of Christina on the Coast featured the renovation of her childhood home, Christina had rarely talked about her family history, mostly sharing photos of her parents as grandparents.

She mentioned in a 2019 Instagram post that their families-hers and Tarek’s-always watch Taylor’s school Christmas concert together.

She shared that several people complimented how well this arrangement was working, noting that many divorced parents – including her ex-husband Tarek’s parents – do the same thing, and it really makes things simpler for everyone. She also mentioned that their daughter Taylor gets really excited when she sees them all together, supporting her.

While Josh gained attention through his relationship with Christina, his sisters were already famous back in the 2000s.

Stacie, known to some viewers as “Stacie the Bartender,” gained recognition as the object of Spencer Pratt’s attention on *The Hills*. She also made appearances on *Vanderpump Rules*, particularly in season three where she was a bridesmaid at Scheana Shay’s wedding.

Oh my gosh, Jessica! She’s amazing! I loved seeing her pop up on shows like *The Hills* and, of course, all of Kendra’s shows – *The Girls Next Door*, *Kendra*, *Kendra on Top*, and even *Kendra Sells Hollywood*! She was always there for Kendra, her bestie, and I just adored her support!

 

Angelique, Tarek’s older sister, owns Latitude 33 Hair Artistry in Anaheim, California. She bought a house that Tarek and Christina had renovated on their show, *Flip or Flop*, back in 2014, and then filmed a web series with Tarek, the HGTV host, in 2019.

Tarek El Moussa’s mother, Dominique, is divorced from his father, whom she has never publicly identified. She is now married to Robert, who often expresses his deep love for her on Instagram.

Tarek has always kept his father’s identity private, but in a Facebook post from November 2017, he mentioned his ‘old man’ was celebrating his 70th birthday.

He shared a touching message about his father, emphasizing how crucial the father-child bond is. Posting a photo from their family’s birthday celebration, he expressed gratitude for his dad’s constant support and encouragement, saying it gave him the confidence to achieve his goals. He believes he owes his success to his father and hopes to pass on those same valuable lessons to his own children.

Tarek shared in an interview with *Country Living* that his father grew up Catholic in Lebanon and Egypt. His parents met in Europe when they were both teenagers – his father originally from the Middle East and his mother from Belgium.
