Update [Mon 3rd Nov 2025, 4:30am]:
SNK announced that Chun-Li will be added to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as downloadable content this week.
I’m so excited – we’ll be able to download this character starting November 5th! Luckily, most of us already have access to it because it came free with the main game when we bought it as part of the Season 1 Pass.
To celebrate, the company has shared two new trailers, including a fun animated short, both of which you can watch here.
Chun-Li is a hugely popular character from Street Fighter, so it was natural that she would be included in the game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Now that we’ve seen her gameplay in the SNK fighting game, it’s clear she’s going to be a fantastic character to play as. She’s scheduled to be released later this year.
Similar to Ken, she mirrors her moves from Street Fighter 6, but she now uses more powerful kicks, relentlessly attacking her opponent Mai.
Here’s her blurb from the press release:
Chun-Li, a skilled agent from Metro City, travels to South Town to look into the return of a dangerous criminal group. She’s a powerful and graceful fighter, and very few in this city can compete with her. The only one who might be her equal is the skilled ninja from the Shiranui clan.
And let’s not forget the ‘boob kiss’ moment in the trailer – longtime fans will recognize it as a nod to classic promotional artwork from the original SNK vs Capcom game.
Players will be able to experience Chun-Li’s story through a dedicated Arcade ladder mode featuring cut-scenes and unique content. Plus, she’s a playable character in the game’s RPG mode, Episodes of South Town, for those who want even more story-driven gameplay.
She’ll also have both her modern and classic outfits available to select.
Are you looking forward to Chun-Li joining the roster in City of the Wolves, or have you lost interest in the game? We still think it’s one of the best fighting games available on PlayStation.
