Chynna Phillips Shares Rare Photo With Sister Mackenzie Phillips

Chynna Phillips Baldwin is pickin’ up good vibrations from her loved ones.

The singer from Wilson Phillips recently came together with her half-sister, Mackenzie Phillips, during a memorial for Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys. This reunion at the service led to a touching photograph capturing their emotional moment.

On Instagram, posted on July 15, Chynna and the former star of “Orange Is The New Black,” who is 65 and whose father was the late John Phillips, can be seen in a heartwarming picture sitting together at a table.

Chynna described Brian Wilson’s memorial as breathtakingly beautiful. It was delightful to catch up with dear friends and family.

It turns out that the 57-year-old woman enjoyed some family time during the event. Alongside a seldom-seen photo of herself and Mackenzie, Chynna also shared a picture of her dancing with her mother, Michelle Phillips, who is the last surviving original member of The Mamas & the Papas. Furthermore, she spent quality time with her ex-bandmate and Brian’s daughter, Carnie Wilson, as shown in another photograph.

In the same post, the “Release Me” actress tagged her husband, Billy Baldwin, who is not depicted in the pictures despite being the father of their children Jameson (age 24), Brooke (19 years old) and Vance (22 years old).

Chynna provides a touching summary of events nearly a month following Brian’s family’s announcement of his passing. As a legendary musician, he co-founded the surf-rock band along with his brothers Dennis and Carl in the 1960s. Sadly, Brian succumbed to a neurocognitive disorder at his California residence on June 11.

With immense sadness, we share the news that our cherished father, Brian Wilson, has sadly passed away. At present, we find ourselves speechless. We ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this difficult time as we grieve as a family. We understand that many people are feeling this loss along with us.

Concerning Chynna, it’s not a new occurrence for her to offer a peek into her personal life. Interestingly enough, the Grammy-nominated artist has disclosed that she and Billy are no longer residents of the same house in California.

She shared on her YouTube channel in November that she and Billy have a fresh setup which is surprisingly beneficial to her. Whether it’s beneficial to Billster, I’m unsure, but I’m extremely content with our current situation.

Although she characterized their living arrangement as “unorganized,” she pointed out that this choice hasn’t had a detrimental impact on their marriage.

She mentioned that we often spend several consecutive days together for sleepovers and fun activities, but we both value our individual space and time apart. She lives in Santa Monica, while her husband is in Beverly Hills. She’s excited about this arrangement, although Billy seems a bit hesitant, yet I believe he understands its essence as well.

Alec was married to Oscar winner Kim Basinger from 1993 until 2002.

Their daughter Ireland Baldwin was born Oct. 23. 1995.

Alec married Hilaria Baldwin (née Thomas) on June 30, 2012.
