Ciara Miller Shares Update Amid Amanda Batula, West Wilson Romance

For Ciara Miller, the tides haven’t changed all that much.

Following the news that her close friend Amanda Batula is dating her ex-boyfriend, West Wilson, the 30-year-old shared a brief update on how she’s doing.

Ciara said she’s doing really well in an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Euphoria season three premiere on April 7th.

This is the model’s first public appearance since West and Amanda addressed speculation about their relationship. They had been the subject of rumors for weeks before confirming they were more than just friends.

We never meant to keep anything secret,” read a statement posted on both of their Instagram accounts on March 31st. “Because our relationship was complicated and everything we do is under public observation from the show, we needed some time to sort things out privately before addressing it.

We’ve been friends for so long, always there for each other through everything life throws our way. Honestly, what’s happened between us recently was a complete surprise! It’s grown from that solid, years-long friendship, so we’ve been really careful and thoughtful about how we’ve navigated things. It just felt important to handle it with a lot of care.

The couple stated that they understand this situation has only affected them personally and hasn’t had wider consequences.

“We truly appreciate the understanding,” they added, “and respect as we navigate this.”

Ciara’s comments come as she and Russell Westbook, who had a difficult split in 2023, are shown on the current season of their show considering getting back together.

During a preview for the show, Ben Waddell directly asked West if he and Ciara were still potentially getting back together. West responded by acknowledging a strong attraction between them, but added that he didn’t want to be the cause of her getting hurt.

But during a preview on March 17th, it looked like that possibility was quickly dismissed when Ciara was shown leaving the backyard, exclaiming in frustration.

Although the preview didn’t show what happened with Ciara and West, West confessed he “really messed up” after Amanda—who revealed her separation from husband Kyle Cooke in January—asked him what was going through his mind.

The constant emotional rollercoaster left Ciara heartbroken, and she tearfully admitted she couldn’t continue living that way.

Ciara Miller and West Wilson found love on the eighth season of Summer House in 2023 and continued their relationship off-screen.

However, their romance wouldn’t last long, with the costars breaking up at the end of that year.

Their difficult breakup created tension at the summer house for the next two years. Ciara wrestled with whether to forgive the sports reporter for hurting her and consider getting back together.

After a rocky four-year marriage filled with challenges, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke have decided to separate, just before the tenth season of their Bravo series airs in 2026.

The couple announced on Instagram on January 19th that they have decided to separate. They shared the news in a joint statement, saying the decision was mutual and made with respect for each other. They asked for privacy and support as they both focus on moving forward and healing.

Amanda and Kyle, married since September 2021, shared that while they’ve always been open about their relationship, they’re asking for privacy as they move forward. They appreciate kindness and respect during this time.

The show gave viewers an intimate look at the couple’s struggles as their relationship fell apart.

Talk about a possible romance between Amanda and West started circulating quickly after the gossip blog Deuxmoi reported on March 5th that the two actors were seen looking cozy together in New York City.

Addressing rumors, West dismissed the speculation during a March 24th appearance on Watch What Happens Live. He explained that she’s currently single and that he was simply showing her around New York, something he’s done for others she’s dated before. He stated, “She’s single now and it happened already to other people she’s hung out with. We were just hanging out in New York. She’s single now, I gotta show her the streets a little.”

The journalist said, “She’s a close friend – someone I really care about.”

After news spread about a possible relationship between West and Amanda, some of their colleagues shared what they thought about it.

On March 29th, Carl Radke posted a confused-looking photo to his Instagram Stories. Lindsay Hubbard and KJ Dillard followed suit, sharing similar expressions of confusion on their own social media accounts.

As a huge Bravo fan, I was totally following the drama when Austen Kroll – who’s good friends with a lot of the Summer House crew – jumped into the conversation. He posted on his Instagram Stories on March 29th, saying something along the lines of, ‘Apparently, dating your friends’ exes and eating pasta are both trendy again!’ It definitely stirred things up!

On March 31st, Amanda and West publicly confirmed the rumors in a joint statement posted on Instagram.

We never meant to keep our relationship a secret,” they explained in a message on Instagram Stories. “Because things were complicated, and being on a reality show means everyone’s watching, we needed some time to figure things out privately before talking about it.

We understand this situation has only affected us and we never intended to cause any pain or seem irresponsible. We’re grateful for your understanding and respect as we work through this.

Just as West and Amanda revealed they were dating, Ciara was seen in New York City with a friend who was offering her support. She also started getting messages of encouragement from friends and colleagues on social media, as people within the Bravo TV community began choosing sides in the dramatic love triangle.

Amanda’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, appeared to make light of the ongoing situation by sharing a selfie with Ciara on Instagram on March 30th.

Paige DeSorbo, known from Summer House, shared a supportive comment on Ciara’s Instagram, simply writing, “Ur perfect.” Lindsay Hubbard and Dara Levitan, who joined the show this season, also showed their support for Ciara, with Lindsay commenting “Perfection,” and Dara adding, “And that’s how you do it.”

Two days after Amanda and West went public, Kyle slammed his former friend for moving in on his ex.

He told journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video posted in April that he felt deeply betrayed. “He completely ended our friendship,” he said, adding, “What happened to the rules about being a good friend?”

Kyle also insinuated West’s intentions were calculated.

He told Adam that West is skilled at understanding his audience and knows exactly how to appeal to women. People are impressed, thinking West has really turned things around, but it’s clear he was deliberately flattering them as part of a calculated strategy.
