BigFire Games, the developer, and NCSoft, the publisher, have unveiled the initial gameplay trailer for their upcoming MMO shooter titled “Cinder City“. This trailer, accessible below, was premiered at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event, offering a mix of gameplay styles, ranging from single-player missions to massive multiplayer battles.
In the trailer, you’ll witness an exhilarating mix of third-person action gameplay, with the player boasting an expansive collection of firearms at their disposal. The game seems to offer versatile travel methods as well, such as a jetpack for leaping between rooftops or a speedy motorcycle for navigating the ruined streets of Seoul, Korea.
In terms of battles, you’ll find that the protagonist encounters adversaries resembling zombies, as well as human foes armed with incredibly potent futuristic weaponry and gear. The narrative of Cinder City seems to lean more towards survival horror, given the unsettling design of the monsters depicted in the trailer.
In terms of multiplayer features, it appears that players will have ample opportunities to personalize their characters. Besides playing as standard human soldiers, players might find themselves assuming the role of robots during intense battles against powerful adversaries such as colossal mechs. Additionally, there seems to be a variety of combat options involving vehicles, both on land and in the air.
The game titled “Cinder City” is currently under development and is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in the year 2026. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that the PC version will be compatible with Nvidia’s latest generation of RTX and DLSS technologies.
