
The organizers of City Connection have unveiled the plans for the Tokyo Game Show 2025, happening from September 25th to 28th, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The full details including schedule and participants will be available on their website once it’s launched.

■ Stage Schedule
September 27
- 13:00 – City Connection 20th Anniversary Event: Captain Flag Game Tournament – America Zarigani’s Yoshiyuki Hirai, City Connection 20th Anniversary Special Ambassador, will host a game tournament using the 1993 Jaleco arcade game Captain Flag. Additionally, JaJaMaru-kun, a character from the Ninja JaJaMaru game available via Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online, will appear at the booth, so come take a photograph with him!
- 14:00 – R-Type Delta: HD Boosted Talk Show – A special talk show with the producer and director of R-Type Delta: HD Boosted ahead of its November 20 release. Viewers can look forward to behind-the-scenes development stories, production details, and an introduction to what makes this game unique. Additionally, members who were involved in the development of the original R-Type Delta will appear on stage as guests. Stay tuned for a special talk where the history and current state of a game cross paths.
