Hurry up and grab your free GOG games with the Freedom to Buy Games movement.
Good Old Games is taking a stand against censorship by giving away censored games!
But what games are up for grabs, and how long is the deal going on for?
Free GOG Games Against Censorship
To start with, 13 free games from GOG are available for everyone, seeing that the campaign is ongoing. For those interested in learning more, the detailed information can be found on their website (available here). However, it’s important to note that not everyone might have the ability to visit the site.
For all my UK brothers out there, turn on your VPNs or simply smash this code:

If you’re finding it tough to secure free games on GOG, remember they will only be available for another 24 hours! Hurry up and log in to your GOG account, then paste the code into the ‘Redeem Code’ button quickly.
But in terms of what games are available, there is Postal 2 and well…

The Freedom To Buy Games primarily focuses on video games that have faced censorship in the past and more recently, which often cater to a mature audience. Examples include HuniePop, Agony, Leap of Love, House Party, Lust Theory, Leap of Faith, Treasure of Nadia, Summers Gone, Fetish Locator, and Sapphire Safari.
Regardless of your preference for the goon genre, Postal 2 is an outstanding game worth experiencing at least once!

As an enthusiastic supporter of gaming freedom, I’m excited to share that these complimentary games from GOG have been thoughtfully chosen to bring attention to the issue of game censorship. It’s intriguing to speculate that the current pressures from payment processors could potentially lead to these games being taken down and removed from their listings.
As a gamer, I can’t help but feel the chill of impending doom. It seems like the tide is turning against us, and soon, many of our beloved games might vanish under the cloak of credit card morality.
On the other hand, GOG serves as an excellent platform, offering the opportunity to download DRM-free games without any necessary online verification or dedicated launchers.
Good Old Censorship
GOG serves as an outstanding platform, providing fantastic DRM-free deals on classic video games. It’s one of the rare firms actively working towards preserving and making these games accessible for gamers everywhere.
As a game enthusiast, I’ve noticed a bit of a conundrum with GOG – they advocate for the liberty to purchase games, but seem to engage in self-censorship when it comes to what they offer. It feels like a twist that I find intriguing, if not a little puzzling.

The game Devotion from Taiwan faced rejection for listing on GOG following its announcement, due to pressure from China. On the other hand, Tyrone vs. Cops was outright denied being sold on their platform because of its content.
As a passionate supporter, I’m thrilled to witness GOG stepping up with their Free GOG Games initiative. However, it’s important to acknowledge that they’ve made some self-restrictions to a certain degree.

If GOG truly wishes to demonstrate their opposition to it, they could highlight expansion by featuring the game “Devoted” prominently on their storefront, signaling growth within the company.
Still a GOG fan, of course; I’ve been playing Deus Ex 1 for years on there!
Despite facing challenges such as Devoted, they remain one of the top-tier retailers currently, as neither Steam nor Epic seem to be making significant strides at present.
Although perhaps they are playing the long game and cooking something up.
