Adventurers, I’ve got exciting news! The limited edition of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is now available for pre-purchase only on Amazon, priced at $59.99. It’s almost the same cost as a new AAA game, but with some additional perks included.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Mirror Edition is now accessible on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 (PS5). This special edition includes the standard game on a disc, an unique collectible game box designed by Renoir, an exclusive Steelbook showcasing Verso and Alicia, and three character art cards out of ten possible designs.
According to the Amazon listing, the release date appears to be December 31, 2025, which might suggest that it’s only a tentative or placeholder date for the Mirror Edition. It seems likely that the Mirror Edition will be available some time before the end of the year instead.
Collectibles for people who missed out on the Collector’s Edition
Similar to many of you, I found myself unsure of what to anticipate when Sandfall Interactive’s RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, was released this year. However, as I delved into the game’s introduction, it quickly became evident that I was captivated. And as my fellow reviewer aptly put it in his assessment of Clair Obscur, “This debut RPG is undeniably a standout success.
Initially, I was captivated by Clair Obscur’s beautiful art, chilling music, and cinematic opening sequence. However, what truly held my attention was the intriguing narrative and the exhilarating turn-based combat with a twist of real-time actions, which made it incredibly rewarding to play.
It’s been quite some time since a game has held my focus as strongly as this one. I managed to finish it in May, but I’ve often found myself yearning to revisit its story. With this Mirror Edition, I may have just found the ideal moment to dive back in and relive the adventure once more.

If you’ve kept up with this role-playing game since its debut, you would recall that along with the initial release, a fantastic $150 Collector’s Edition called Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was also made available.
The original game package included character DLC costumes, a SteelBook showcasing Gustave, Maelle, and the Paintress, an artbook, and a 20.3cm Monolith Music Box figurine. Regrettably, the Collector’s Edition with these items was sold out quite rapidly and is no longer for sale.
To be honest, I really yearn to acquire both the Monolith statue and the accompanying artbook. However, unless I manage to find reasonably priced second-hand items or wait for some significant price drop, it seems unlikely that I’ll be able to afford them at a reasonable cost right now.

As a tech enthusiast, I’d say: “You know, unlike the Collector’s Edition, The Mirror Edition might not boast that eye-catching statue, but it sure does offer a wallet-friendly alternative without compromising on the stylish elements you get to showcase.
Additionally, this special edition is just $10 higher priced than the standard version, which means you’re essentially getting an AAA game-worth value for just a little extra cost. That’s quite reasonable, isn’t it?
Well, I’ve got to go and claim one of these preorders for myself. See ya.
