Get this: the classic RPG *Deus Ex* from the year 2000 is receiving a complete remaster for the PlayStation 5 next year!
Releasing on February 5th, 2025, Deus Ex Remastered is a refreshed version of the classic cyberpunk game that pioneered player choice. It features updated graphics and improved controls, bringing this influential adventure to a new generation.
While this is technically a graphical update, it’s likely many longtime fans won’t be impressed with how the game looks. It’s a fairly simple refresh overall, so we’re hoping improvements to the gameplay will make up for it.
Deus Ex is still a compelling RPG, but its gameplay hasn’t held up well over time and can feel clunky by modern standards.
