Classic Lara Croft Costume Returns in New Tomb Raider Game (And You Can Get It Right Now for Free)

The Game Awards revealed a big surprise for fans: not one, but two new Tomb Raider games are in development. Tomb Raider: Catalyst will explore the future adventures of Lara Croft, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a stunning remake of the original Tomb Raider game from 1996. Although Catalyst isn’t expected until 2027 and Legacy of Atlantis until 2026, players can get a free in-game costume right now to celebrate!

As a huge Tomb Raider fan, I was so excited to hear that if you sign up for an Amazon Games ID, you get the exclusive Mediterranean Wetsuit Outfit in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis! It’ll just appear in your game when it launches, which is awesome. The trailer showed off Lara’s iconic tank top and shorts, but this wetsuit offer makes me think there will be lots of outfits to choose from and change up Lara’s look during gameplay – and that’s a fantastic idea!

This outfit looks fantastic on Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and is a fun item to get right away. It’s actually a familiar design – a nearly identical version appeared in Tomb Raider: Underworld, with just a few updated details. This could mean that more classic costumes from past games will be available in the game, perhaps as rewards for playing or by finding hidden collectibles.

Creating an Amazon Games ID is simple – just sign up with your email address. Be sure to link your gaming accounts, particularly the one you plan to use for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Once the game is released, you’ll likely be able to log in to your Amazon Games ID and claim a special outfit.

Even though Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis isn’t out yet, you can still enjoy perks by linking your Amazon Game ID. You’ll get the latest news on Tomb Raider games and can also discover and earn rewards for other games published by Amazon.

It’s becoming increasingly common for video game companies to link rewards and services to player accounts. These account requirements can range from helpful perks to frustrating restrictions. Recently, Sony received criticism for requiring a PlayStation Network account to play certain PlayStation games on computers, and other game developers are following suit with similar practices.
