The horror audio adventure game, *Cling to Blindness*, will be available on PC through Steam starting November 4th, according to publisher PLAYISM and developer Lizardry.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Cling to Blindness is a horror game played with sound. You have to use audio cues to perform a ritual, and the game is designed to be played as if you’re actually blindfolded. For the best and scariest experience, headphones are highly recommended.
Navigate with Your Mouse
Control the game with your mouse. Move it side to side to look around and find the sources of sounds. Click the left mouse button to move forward.
Follow the Sounds
If Ashioto finds you, the game ends. You’ll need to use sound to find your way and complete your objective. Since you can’t rely on sight, listen carefully for audio clues to guide you through the dark.
This horror game focuses on creating a creepy atmosphere through sound rather than relying on sudden, startling moments, making it accessible even if you don’t usually enjoy horror games.
However, if you begin to feel unwell, we recommend you stop playing the game immediately.
There are three rules you must follow…
- Never take off your blindfold.
- Do not let Ashioto catch up to you.
- Collect all five talismans.
Story
You play as Satsuki, a girl who travels to the ruins of an abandoned village to perform a ritual.
Listen carefully.
If you hear footsteps… that means Ashioto is near.
Never, ever let them catch you.
Use the sound of wind chimes to locate the talismans.
Your hearing becomes your vision as nothing will be shown on the screen.
So do not remove your blindfold—.
not until it’s time for it to be taken off.
Play Time
Approximately one to 1.5 hours.
