The frightening roguelike slot machine game titled “CloverPit” is set to debut on September 3 for personal computers through Steam. This was confirmed by the publishers, Future Friends Games, and developers, Panik Arcade.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
In simpler terms, “CloverPit” can be described as a unique blend of “Balatro” and “Buckshot Roulette”, a roguelike game where players find themselves imprisoned in a self-made hell. Surrounded by a rusty cell containing a slot machine and an ATM, the objective is to clear your debt at the end of each round. Failure to do so results in a literal downfall or collapse of your in-game character.
Manipulate the slot machine for additional coins by strategically choosing symbols that lead to large combinations, enhancing your chances of winning big prizes and bonuses. Use various techniques to tilt the odds in your favor, hoping this leads to an extended lucky streak. Bend or even break the rules of the game if necessary, as long as it gives you enough winnings to pay off your captor and eventually earn your freedom.
Features:
- A gripping roguelite where every round could be your last!
- Meta-progression, multiple endings and unlockable power-ups!
- Push your score to new heights in Endless Mode!
- A hellish escape room atmosphere!
- Over 150 items and synergies to boost your luck!
- A sinister tale of addiction and escape!
P.S. Is This Gambling?
Absolutely not! CloverPit isn’t a slot machine simulation, it’s a roguelike horror game. While our slot machine component is meant to be challenging, you can definitely conquer it. Rest assured, we will never solicit real money from you!
