Curveball Games is excited to announce Planted!, a new game from Cloth Cat. According to Ed Gregory, a senior publishing manager at Curveball Games, they immediately loved the game’s unique blend of gardening, combat, and charming characters, and they hope players will too.
Ben Cawthorne, creative producer at Cloth Cat Games, shared that Planted! has been a passion project for the team for the past five years. They’re thrilled to finally release the game and can’t wait for players to experience the unique combination of combat and gardening with friends. They promise to share more details soon.
Here is an overview of the game, via Curveball Games:
About
In Planted!, players grow plants and then launch the produce at targets – and even at other players – in arena combat. The goal is to score the most points and win against your rivals.
Planted! is a unique game that combines farming with fast-paced arena battles. Players compete against each other, carefully planning what crops to grow and how to use them. You can focus on growing huge, high-scoring produce with fertilizer, sabotage opponents by stealing their crops, or use special power-ups to boost your way to win. It’s a chaotic and fun competition where only time will reveal the ultimate victor.
Planted! offers a variety of ways to play. You can enjoy multiplayer action locally with friends on the same couch, or online with cross-play available between PC and consoles. If you prefer to play alone, Planted! also features a dedicated single-player campaign where you compete in the challenging world of competitive gardening.
