Last year, Martin Kove, an actor from the show Cobra Kai, was under investigation by Sony for alleged inappropriate behavior towards a female extra on the set of The Karate Kid remake. She claimed that his actions made her feel uncomfortable.
In an interview with Deadline on Thursday, the 78-year-old actor from Brooklyn, New York City, who was born there, stated that the sexual harassment allegations against him, which were made over a year ago, are not accurate and still aren’t true today.
According to sources, the outlet reported that an extra alleged that Kove had behaved inappropriately towards a female extra, making suggestive comments and giving her unwanted attention, on the Atlanta set of the movie adaptation.
Afterward, the woman voiced discomfort to the production team about him, prompting Sony to investigate the matter thoroughly.
The Sony probe into the actor’s actions follows recent revelations that he allegedly bit his co-star, Alicia Hannah-Kim, during a fan gathering in Puyallup, Washington, stating he was deeply engrossed in their characters from the show.
Daily Mail has reached out to Kove’s reps for further details on the incident.

Martin Kove, who played the antagonistic karate instructor John Kreese in the initial three Karate Kid movies of the 1980s, stated to a media outlet that he did not commit any wrongdoing.
In a statement, Kove, who’s played Kreese in 57 episodes of Cobra Kai since 2018, acknowledged being truthful when Sony executives probed him about his actions concerning the 2024 allegation.
Kove stated, ‘If I had anything to admit, I’d be open about it. Sony did inquire about the reported event, and I provided all the necessary information without holding back.’
The seasoned actor, who’s been part of Hollywood for over five decades, found the timing of the information becoming public questionable.
‘This is so bizarre,’ he said, ‘as it was in April of last year.’
