Coco Austin Defends Breastfeeding Her Daughter Until Age 6

Coco Austin was milking all the precious moments with her daughter.

As a mom, I always say do what feels right for you and your baby! A few years ago, I shared that I was still breastfeeding my daughter, Chanel (who was in school at the time!), and I’ve been getting questions ever since. I recently opened up about why I continued nursing her until she was six – it was a personal choice, and honestly, it felt natural for both of us. It wasn’t necessarily conventional, but it worked for our family.

Coco explained on the November 9th episode of The Dumb Blonde podcast that she wasn’t feeding her daughter because she needed help with meals. Her daughter was already eating solid foods by her first birthday. Coco described it as a way to connect with her daughter – a special moment where her daughter simply enjoyed being close to her while Coco offered her milk.

Coco wasn’t making her daughter continue breastfeeding; she was letting her daughter decide when she was finished.

The woman explained, “She won’t be a teenager while still doing this.” She believed her daughter would eventually realize the situation was odd and stop, which thankfully happened around age six—though even that felt like a very long time.”

Coco, who married the Law & Order: SVU star in 2002, acknowledged that continuing to breastfeed her daughter for an extended period wasn’t typical, but she believes it’s a matter of personal perspective.

She explained that in Europe, people stay up until 7 PM without thinking anything of it, which Americans find strange. However, she believes it’s perfectly fine as long as it’s done privately at home.

Coco also slammed the tendency to “sexualize” the mother-daughter bonding moment.

She mostly wanted me nearby when she was going to sleep,” she said. “It was just for comfort. A lot of people really liked it, too.

When asked about the criticism she received for her choice, Coco simply said, “It’s really not that serious – it’s just a breast.”

In fact, looking back at that moment in her daughter’s life, Coco wouldn’t change a thing.

Coco said her daughter is currently very affectionate and loves to cuddle, especially enjoying being close and leaning on her. She recognizes this sweet phase won’t last, as her daughter will likely become more independent as she enters her teenage years.

She emphasized, “I’m loving every moment I can with Chanel.”

In June 2024, athlete Jason Kelce jokingly responded to a fan’s comment on social media. The fan had observed that Kelce appeared to not wash his legs or feet, prompting Kelce to tweet, “What kind of weirdo washes their feet…?”

The retired Philadelphia Eagles player later doubled down on his comments.

On his podcast, New Heights, Jason Kelce jokingly asked, “What kind of person washes someone else’s feet?” He then added that he would scrub off any visible dirt, though.

More than ten years after telling a story about witnessing a clown’s death in a car explosion at the circus when he was a child, the actor known for Twilight has confessed that the story was made up.

Robert remembered telling The New York Times Style Magazine in December 2024 that he reacted with complete surprise. He said he immediately asked, ‘What on earth is going on? Are you possessed?’

As for what he said during the 2011 Today interview promoting his film Water for Elephants?

Oh my god, he told me what happened. One of the clowns… he actually died. Apparently, his tiny little clown car, you know, the one with all the silly gadgets, just… exploded! Can you believe it? It wasn’t a funny explosion, though. It was serious. He said everyone just panicked and ran, it sounded absolutely terrifying. I’ve been a fan forever, and I just… I can’t even imagine.

Grandma knows best.

In an October 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian shared a personal story about how her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, unexpectedly played a role in a private moment with her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Kim Kardashian shared a story with MJ, Kris Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian about a weekend at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She explained that she and Pete Davidson were chatting by the fireplace for hours when she remembered something her grandmother told her: ‘You truly live life when you have sex in front of the fireplace.’ Inspired by this, they decided to act on it as a tribute to Kris.

Grandma’s reaction? A nod of approval.

Kim jokingly remarked, “It’s weird to think about your grandmother right before being intimate!” MJ responded, “I know, but everyone has a past!”

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have a very close family with their two children, 8-year-old Wyatt and 6-year-old Dimitri, and their love for each other is endless.

So much so, that the Black Swan actress revealed they keep an open-door policy at home.

As a longtime follower, I remember her telling TopMob News back in September 2022 that it really extends to everything, even the bathroom! She explained it’s just become totally normal for her family and the kids – they’ve all just embraced natural bodily functions as part of everyday life, for better or worse.

Mila explained she decided to give in after her family repeatedly asked to come inside. She said she eventually thought, ‘Oh well, I’ll just leave the door open.’

Pre-kids, she might not have imagined she’d flush that particular boundary away.

She said she never imagined she’d become comfortable enough to use the restroom with the door open.

Ghouls just want to have fun.

During an October 2022 episode of The View, while discussing a woman who claimed her home was haunted by “sexual ghosts,” Sara Haines posed a surprising question to her co-hosts: “Is it possible to get pregnant from a ghost?”

Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, had a playful response, joking, “I’ve had encounters with a few ghosts and never gotten pregnant.”

“I’m going to leave that comment as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I’m choosing not to address it further.”

Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are very close friends, but Hoda recently learned something surprising about her “Today” co-host. While preparing for an episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna,” Hoda found out that Jenna always goes without underwear.

Hoda Kotb shared a funny story from a November 2022 episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna. She explained that they both needed to quickly change outfits, and while heading back to the dressing room, she realized Jenna Bush Hager doesn’t wear underwear.

Jenna’s rationale? Well, no underwear might just be more convenient to her.

She explained that the style creates a more flattering shape and also allows you to pack lighter. She felt there were many benefits to choosing it.

Looks like someone hasn’t been keeping up.

Britney Spears related to a popular line from Keke Palmer – “He could be walking down the street, I wouldn’t know a thing” – and confessed she wasn’t familiar with Pete Davidson or Scott Disick.

Britney shared a funny video from March featuring Pete Davidson—who was dating Kim Kardashian at the time—and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, having a night out. She said the video had her laughing a lot.

Okay, so I had to share this – I stumbled across a hilarious video and had no idea who the people in it were, but it seriously cracked me up! I just had to repost it, it was that funny!

Before Chris Evans became famous as Captain America and was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, Jana Kramer dated him and thought he was a charming and attractive guy.

The singer shared on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that this happened over ten years ago. While she doesn’t remember exactly how many times they went out, she does remember their final meeting.

Jana, who was around 26 at the time, said Chris asked her to come over when he had some friends visiting from Boston.

Jana recalled that the last thing she remembered was her boyfriend going to the bathroom right after she’d gone, noting that eating asparagus can change the smell of urine. They didn’t spend the night together; he stayed up late with friends, and the next morning, she left his house feeling embarrassed.

She added, “I never heard from him again.”

Not all of these confessions are amusing.

In December, television writer Elisabeth Finch confessed that she had fabricated a story about having a rare form of bone cancer. She originally shared this false diagnosis with ELLE magazine eight years prior, and it even became the basis for a plotline on Grey’s Anatomy.

Elisabeth recently confessed to telling a lie at age 34, calling it the biggest regret of her life. She explained to The Ankler newsletter that the falsehood grew over time and became increasingly difficult to reveal. She also clarified, “I have never had cancer.”

Finch, who was temporarily removed from their role on the ABC medical show before ultimately quitting, admitted, “I messed up badly. It was completely unacceptable, and I take full responsibility.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.

The reality star told The New York Times she’d consider almost any procedure to look younger, joking that she was open to trying anything.

She admitted in June that she’d consider doing almost anything for younger-looking skin, even something as unpleasant as eating something disgusting daily. She emphasized she was serious, saying, ‘I just might!’

In a July 2022 interview with Allure, Kim admitted she was mostly kidding when she made the comment, but she didn’t think it was a bad idea.

Kim thought for a moment and then said, ‘Honestly, I’d probably eat something awful if someone promised it would make me look younger – even if it meant eating a bowl of poop every day.’

She wasn’t sure how much she could eat. “Perhaps just a small taste,” she said. “I definitely couldn’t manage a full bowl.”

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in April 2025, the singer of “Save Me” shared a truly embarrassing story, and he didn’t shy away from the details.

“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”

To be honest, Jelly Roll (born Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.

He firmly believed it was just a harmless prank. “I sincerely apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience quickly turn from supportive to completely against me.”
