It’s only love on the court for Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. 

Following a backlash over unsportsmanlike conduct during her loss to Coco at the French Open, the Belarusian tennis player and her opponent set aside their racquets at Wimbledon to show off some groovy dance steps instead.

Without a doubt, Aryna and Coco, who were the first American to clinch a singles title at that tournament since Serena Williams in 2015, stepped onto the grassy field where they grooved to the tunes of “Rock This Party” by Bob Sinclair and Cutee B.

Aryna titled her June 27 Instagram video as, “TikTok dances are particularly good at uniting folks.

Meanwhile, her American counterpart commented three laughing emojis under the clip.

The get-together of the tennis players occurs approximately three weeks following Aryna’s statement to journalists, suggesting that it was not Coco’s outstanding play that resulted in their loss, but rather her own errors.

At the June 7 post-game news conference following her gold win at the 2024 US Open women’s singles event, she attributed part of her loss to the unfavorable weather conditions.

She excelled more on the field yesterday, and I feel it’s only fair to acknowledge that, she added. It’s possible for both statements to hold true… Yesterday, I wasn’t at my peak performance, but Coco displayed remarkable composure and precision in her play.

Regarding Coco, she expressed understanding towards her rival during an interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, stating, “I believe she might have been quite emotional following that match, as it was a difficult defeat for her.

As a devoted fan, I found myself taken aback by the comments made about Aryna. However, understanding the intense emotions involved, I chose to afford her the benefit of the doubt.

Regarding the weather conditions, Coco shared that neither her nor the 27-year-old player typically trained with the stadium’s roof open. She further mentioned, “When I learned it was open, I noticed how windy it was on the court. I knew right away it would be a difficult win.

In 2025, both Aryna and Coco are scheduled to compete at the Wimbledon Championships, starting on June 30th.
