Comedy first-person adventure game The Dungeon Experience to be published by Devolver Digital

Devolver Digital will publish the comedic first-person adventure game, *The Dungeon Experience*, created by Bone Assembly. The game is slated for release on PC via Steam in 2026, and a demo is available to play now.

Here is an overview of the game, via Devolver Digital:

About

Okay, so I’m playing this hilarious new game called *The Dungeon Experience*. You’re a super weak mudcrab, seriously, like the bottom of the barrel, but you’re on this epic quest to help the player achieve ‘Financial Freedom’ – which is a funny concept for a crab, honestly. It’s a first-person adventure and it’s all about the laughs!

This crab wasn’t always a successful dungeon owner. He started as a small, insignificant creature, barely surviving at the bottom of the food chain – the kind of enemy you’d easily defeat in a video game. But through hard work, a positive attitude, and a little help from some crab-themed candles, he built a popular and fully equipped dungeon, and recently had all the asbestos safely removed.

And he wants to share this life-changing opportunity with YOU.

Key Features

  • Step inside the dungeon, explore its wonders, and take part in an exclusive training program that will guide you to success.
  • Never seen before techniques of teaching business acumen via high fantasy themes. Who knew murdering goblins could lead to such wealth.
  • The training program will increase your chance with prospective partners of your choosing whether that be romantic, platonic or George.
  • Rise through the ranks of a supportive, fast-growing community who are ready to synergize and touch base with other like minded touchers of bases.
  • You will be able to pass down the success you earn onto others and reap the benefits of their success, creating a pyramid adjacent shape of Financial Freedom*.

Okay, so “Financial Freedom” is just a name we use – it’s our thing, and doesn’t mean actual money or anything like that. Honestly, what it *means* is up to you, but we’d prefer you didn’t overthink it. Seriously, maybe spend less time analyzing *our* stuff and more time figuring out what *you* want. We’ve kind of figured *you* out though – we think you’re someone who’s struggling and maybe a little lonely. That’s why we’ve got this awesome training program that’ll help you change all that!
