Hamster announced that Console Archives Dezaemon will be available on PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 starting February 19th. The game will cost $7.99 or 800 yen.
Here is an overview of the game, via Hamster:
About
A pro-grade game construction tool!
Dezaemon was released by ATHENA in 1991 for an 8-bit home console.
It is a game creation tool that allows you to produce your very own original shooting game.
Create characters and scenery with pixel art, compose music using retro 8-bit sounds, and design diverse enemy behaviors by tweaking different settings!
The Console Archives series lets you play beloved classic games, originally made for older home consoles, on today’s gaming systems.
The Console Archives series now includes features to help players enjoy classic games, such as customizable controls, quick button presses, multiple save slots, and even a rewind feature in some games.
Players can also tweak the screen’s appearance with options like layout adjustments and filters that mimic the look of older CRT televisions, letting them personalize how the game looks.
I really hope everyone, whether they’re revisiting an old favorite or discovering a game for the very first time, finds something they love and gets to enjoy it exactly how they want to!
