Control Resonant Deluxe Edition’s 48 Hour Advanced Access is Exclusive to PS5

The highly anticipated game, Control Resonant, launches on September 24th, and Remedy has promised to share more details in the coming months. Players who bought the Deluxe Edition will get early access, starting two days before the official release – but this perk is currently only available on PlayStation 5.

Thomas Puha, the communications director, explained on Twitter that this is a perk only for PlayStation players. It’s odd that the PlayStation Store doesn’t mention this, even though the trailer shown for PlayStation made it seem that way. Unfortunately, players on PC or Xbox Series X/S will miss out.

Puha also announced that people will soon get a chance to play the game and share their first impressions. Remedy is traveling to cities including Mexico City, São Paulo, Warsaw, Berlin, and London to give press and content creators access. He explained that organizing these hands-on sessions took a lot of work throughout the year, and the team is eager for players to experience the game, particularly the combat.

You can now pre-order Control Resonant. It’s priced at $59.99 for the Standard Edition, which is a great value considering many new games cost $70. This is especially noteworthy because it’s Remedy’s largest and most ambitious game yet, needing a full 100 GB of space to install on PC.

The Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99 and includes early access to the game. You’ll also receive an exclusive outfit, a set of starting resources, a digital art book and soundtrack, and a special item called an Untapped Artifact that functions like a storage space for your in-game items. We’ll share more details and show you gameplay footage soon.
