Controversial Genshin Impact Update Allows Whales to Break the Level Cap, Here Are the Redemption Codes

In Genshin Impact, acquiring multiple copies of a 5-Star character can rack up costs in the thousands of dollars, with the ultimate goal of fully enhancing their Constellations. The recent news about an additional item that becomes available through more duplicates, which allows for surpassing the level cap of 90, is causing quite a stir among players.

In simpler terms, using a 5-Star character that’s already at level C6 will grant you a new resource called Masterless Stella Fortuna. This resource can elevate any character at level 90 up to level 95. To reach level 100, another Masterless Stellar Fortuna is required.

In most cases, it’s uncommon to encounter players who have 5-Star characters at C6, as this typically requires substantial investment, often equating to large sums of money. To be clear, we’re talking about a significant amount of resources, unless you’ve been selectively pulling for only one or two characters during the last five years.

Although this system stirs debates, its impact may not be significant. Given their scarcity, it seems unlikely that HoYoverse will incorporate content specifically for Level 100 characters within the game. As has been the case in the past, you should generally be able to accomplish most of the game’s tasks if playing for free, as this is how games should ideally function.

The game will be receiving its Luna I update on the 10th of September, marking the beginning of an exciting new narrative for the game!

You’re about to venture into a fresh location called Nod-Krai, which has been generating quite a buzz recently. There, you’ll encounter a brand-new group of characters, joining forces with Lauma from the Frostmoon Scions in the battle against the Fatui. If you’ve wrapped up Liyue’s storyline, you can jump right into the new content without delay.

Here’s what the blurb says:

In the realm of Nod-Krai, a primordial energy called Kuuvahki saturates the landscape, influencing its geography and inhabitants. Players can tap into this power, concealed within flora, machinery, and the earth itself, to surmount obstacles during exploration. They might also transform into a distinctive elemental entity, the Kuuhenki, traversing swiftly across pockets of mist and Moonlanes. In combat, Kuuvahki manifests in both adversaries and allies, necessitating players to develop tactical approaches to emerge victorious – while some characters possess the skill to invoke unique Lunar Reactions.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m pumped about three fresh Nod-Krai characters joining the fray: Lauma, Flins, and Aino! Aino is up for grabs for those who advance the storyline, but you’ll have the chance to pull her Constellations during the second phase of the upcoming update.

Here’s how all three characters play:

Lauma, known as the Moonchanter, is a powerful five-star user of Catalyst, who introduces a new reaction called Lunar-Bloom using her Dendro abilities. This reaction helps increase damage from Bloom-related attacks within her team. Lauma also has a special bond with animals and can transform into a half-human, half-deer form for quick and agile movement.

Flins, another five-star Polearm user, specializes in Electro and delivers Lunar-Charged strikes to deal either devastating single blows or a series of spear attacks. As a skilled Lightkeeper, he can listen to the whispers of the Wild Hunt during exploration.

Aino, a four-star Hydro Claymore user, created Ineffa and combines mechanical ingenuity with a touch of home. Her creations, such as the cute combat device ‘Knuckle Duckle’, add playful new elements to the adventure.

Hey there fellow Teyvat explorers! With the beginning of a fresh saga in Genshin Impact, we’ve got some fantastic goodies waiting for you. You’ll score a 5-Star character totally free, grab a handful of cool gizmos, and get at least 20 complimentary draws just for logging in. So don’t miss out on this grand adventure!

HoYoverse is developing a game creation tool for Genshin Impact, similar to Roblox, which will allow community members to design mini-games using the engine. This feature is set to be introduced in the Luna II update this year, and initial demonstrations have showcased tower defense games, RPG-style adventures viewed from above, and shooting range simulations. The potential for creative expression with this tool seems limitless.

Before we move on, we’d remiss not to share the latest redemption codes:
