ITV has shared a new trailer and photos for the upcoming crossover event between Coronation Street and Emmerdale. The two popular shows will join forces for a special episode.
The new episode will air on ITV at 8pm on Monday, January 5th, and it will also change when future episodes are released. Before the main episode, you can watch individual episodes of each show on ITVX starting at 6am.
Okay, so details are still a bit fuzzy, but it sounds like things are going to be intense! Apparently, there’s a huge crash happening on a country road near Hotten, and it’s going to involve a lot of our favourites. I heard Lisa Swain, David Platt, Tracy McDonald, Aaron Dingle, and even Dr. Cavanagh are all caught up in it – a dark and stormy night, you can just imagine the drama!
It’s likely John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) will be involved in upcoming events, as wanted posters featuring him have been seen at the Weatherfield Police Station.
Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) recently mentioned dealing with a demanding bride in Manchester while planning a wedding, and it seems this bride is probably Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney).
The new trailer showed several characters who will be making an appearance, including Kit Green, James Bailey, Asha Alahan, Carla Connor, Kevin Webster, Shona Platt, and Abi Webster from Coronation Street.

Representing Emmerdale in a competition across the Pennines are Cain Dingle, Sarah Sugden, Charity Dingle, Jacob Gallagher, Robert Sugden, and Joe Tate.
After the crash, Kit immediately sprang into action. Meanwhile, Carla tried to comfort someone, and Jacob, a trained doctor, helped Shona and David, who were hurt by the side of the road.
Asha, who is studying to be a paramedic, teams up with Cain to help more of the casualties.
Unfortunately, we anticipate there will be casualties, but it’s currently unknown who will be affected. Both Charity and Shona are worried about their pregnancies, and Shona is experiencing significant pain at the hospital.
At the scene, Kevin and Abi desperately call out Debbie’s name, while Robert helps Joe look for Aaron.
It’s shaping up to be a night to remember!
