Starting from June 30th, 2025, ITV will offer an alternative method for viewing popular soap operas like Coronation Street and Emmerdale, as these shows will now be accessible through another platform.
Instead of waiting for the shows to air on ITVX in the morning, you can now simultaneously watch them on YouTube as well.
Earlier, the episodes were published on the site a couple of days following their airing on ITV. This adjustment means that more people can watch them simultaneously as they are broadcasted, eliminating the delay.
On social media platform X (previously known as Twitter), it was verified by both Emmerdale and Coronation Street that they’ve made some progress with a new development.
However, even though it’s positive news for fans, they should anticipate significant shifts in their schedules as a result of the UEFA Women’s Euro.
On Monday and Wednesday, the 2nd of July, Emmerdale will broadcast as scheduled. However, there’s a special, one-hour episode planned for Tuesday, the 1st of July, starting at 7 pm.
No Emmerdale episodes will be broadcast on Thursday (3rd July) or Friday (4th July).
Instead, Coronation Street maintains its broadcasts on Mondays and Wednesdays, but there won’t be any new episodes on Fridays.
Instead of waiting for the evenings, you can start watching all the episodes as early as 7am on ITVX or YouTube, which means less episodes but continuous viewing throughout the day.
In the Dales, a new villain named Ray, portrayed by Joe Absolom, shows up, while unfortunate Paddy Dingle, played by Dominic Brunt, endures a severe attack from a dog. To add insult to injury, dad Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) exacerbates the situation.
On the stone-paved area, spectators will witness the current state of characters Gary Windass (played by Mikey North) and Kevin Webster (portrayed by Michael Le Vell). Meanwhile, the latter is readying himself for the arrival of hospital test results.
